Dez reaches over from the co-pilot seat and hits the comms button. "R4-T6, can you keep comms to the cloakshape open?"

"People better get to those gunnery stations as well, you will be wasting time getting to them once the shooting starts."

R4-T6 responds oiver the open comm-link from the cloakshape with an affirmative beep.

Korstyn makes her way to the cargo hold without another word and climbs into the cockpit.  Seeing the droid in the slot behind her, she activates the intercom systems as she straps in.

"Droid.  What's your unit designation and what's our status?"

The droid beeps a response, but youn do not understand Binary, so you are not sure what it said. except when you look at your HuD betweeen you and  the cloakshape fighter's windshield.

You see a message displayed there:  
"Designation: R4-T6"
"Status: Engines: Ready; Weapons: Ready; Torpedos: 6/6"
"Hyperdrive Coords: awaiting destination coordinates from IT-0"

Njon accompanied Korstyn as far as the entrance to the hangar, but while she raced down the stairs to the fighter, he crossed the gangway to the port-side gunnery position. That leaves the starboard side turret for whomever will be assuming the opther gunnery position. Meanwhile the customs frigate continues to close.

There is a dinging alert in the cockpit as you receive an incoming communication request.

[It took two rounds of movement for Korstyn to get into the cloakshape cockpit and for Njon to reach the turret.]

Dez looks at Jendu "You gonna get that?"

Korstyn nods to herself as she keys the hatch to close, then responds to the droid "Good.  Let's hold off on exiting.  Why spoil the surprise?"

She then contacts the bridge.  "I'm gonna need a sitrep soon."

"Will do. We hav an incoming communique. We'll see what they have to say. Do not launch until we know for sure we are engaging."

“Copy.  At least the cloakshape they gave us is fully prepped.”

Shunna exhales a disappointed breath, then stands up and swiftly goes to the other gunner position.  She sits in the chair and readies her weapon for battle, mumbling to herself, "May the Force be with us!"
