The First Mission - (Chapter 1)
Viego shrugs, "I am for destroying the thing she was holding, pointing to it on the floor. As for her... that feels like a Lt call." he says staying at the door with a clear shot just in case the guys at the bar moved or were hostile at all.
Aaron grunted in satisfaction as the faerie seized up and flopped to the floor like a limp fish. A clean and efficient takedown, just the way he liked it. Whatever we decide, we have about 10 minutes before the paralysis wears off. He grabbed the fairy by its legs and hoisted it back onto the bar table. He then pulled out some electrical tape out of his backpack and started wrapping the fairy up, full-body style. She ended up looking like a tape cocoon, save for her head still exposed (a small, separate piece of tape was placed over its mouth).

He also picked up the squid worm with a napkin and placed it on the countertop for a better view. I'm not sure I want to know what this thing is.
Nolan looks at the squid-thing, trying to assess what it is.

Lore - Demon & Monster [1d100]=40 vs 58%
Lore - Fairies & Magical Beings [1d100]=69 vs 53%
Lore - Dimensional Beings [1d100]=27 vs 53%

Regardless, he comes to the same conclusion.

"Kill this disgusting thing."

Then he turns his attention to the fey.  "Ten minutes you say? But she can hear every word in the meantime, so maybe I shall do the talking, and give our message time to sink in."

He leans in close to the invisible, duct tape bound bundle of murder-joy. "I know what you are. I also know that you will not be cooperative. Torture will not work. You like pain. But a life bound in a cold iron box for eternity is not something any fey would enjoy. Our lab technicians will love having you to study and dissect.  Of course they will not kill you, because they will need you as a test subject."

"That means you will have one chance, and only one chance, tell us what we need to know, and you get to leave this town not locked in an iron box."

He looks at Aaron and Khayman, "You two, consult in my office."  He looks at Marcus and Viego, "Keep things on lock a moment."

Then he turns and walks in to his 'office', the men's washroom.
Nodding, Khayman rose and headed for the head, his gaze taking in the barroom one more time before vanishing into the restroom, What's on your mind LT?
"Odds of that thing talking are slim and none, but we're gonna try. I want there to be no mistake, that thing is not leaving this bar alive, no m,atter what I tell it. I am going to lie to it, promise it we will let it go, hopefully get it to talk, then you are going to kill it."

"Now I would like youyyr fella's input, how do we best go about interrogating something that enjoys pain and suffering?"
Aaron thought about it for a moment. Usually if someone was being difficult, Aaron could put the fear of God into them with a few choice words and maybe a small show of force. People tend to become more reasonable after you punch a hole through concrete with your bare hands. But getting people to behave and extracting information from a hostile target were different matters altogether, especially when dealing with unfamiliar monsters.

Honestly sir, sounds like we should just terminate it immediately and not take any further risks. Barkeep still has his mind intact; he's bound to know something useful. Probably a more cooperative witness than a sado-masochistic faerie too.
He looks at Khayman, and gestures with his thumb toward Aaron.

"You see, that's why I ask for input. So I don't hyper-focus and miss the glaringly obvious."

He looks at Aaron, "Thanks, and your right, the bartender will likely be a far more useful source.
With a smirk, the Master Sergeant said, Yeah well, my scrubs are pretty smart, way more then me. He looked to Aaron, then said, I still don't see what all the fuss is, but then I don't have the vision you three seem to possess. If it's bad news, have your brother rip it's head off and be done with it.
Viego looks at Marcus as they wait for the others to return and says "Should one of probably secure the thing? That duck tape won't hold it when it becomes un-paralyzed. Maybe rock, paper, scissors to see who has to hold it? " The thought of squishing the thing in his hand wasn't exactly thrilling to Viego.
"This thing has to go first, then we wait for the LT to tell us what to do with the fairy thing." Marcus focuses his psychic armor around his hand and brutally slaps the wormy squid thing fully trying to squash the thing flat.  He hits it hard enough to hopefully kill it, but not destroy the bar.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
