The First Mission - (Chapter 1)
Viego shrugs. "Makes sense I had been thinking of throwing them in the deep end and seeing if they can swim. But you idea sounds likely to ruffle less feathers."
"Alright, I'll follow in my car, since all of us will be crowded in the jeep. Anyone care to ride with me?"
Looking from the two boys, he just sighed and shook his head, You two honestly think you know this fucking town better then me? He chuckled as he swung up into the jeep, I was raised on these streets lab rats.
---Everyone---

After Viego and Aaron nailed down one out of four of the most popular nightclubs in Chi-town, they drove out for a night on the town.  The club they chose was called Power Play.  It was super trendy and filled with rich girls sluming it from the Archology.  Khayman approved this location as it was relatively tame for Nolan and Marcus' sake.

The drive through Chi-town's lower city wasn't too crazy, Friday night traffic being what it was.  So they arrived in one piece and strolled inside.  The music was loud but not overpowering and the girls were vastly outnumbering the guys on the dance floor.  So things looked promising.

Allowing the boys to lead, this club was there turf afterall, Nolan follows them to a booth.

When someone comes to order their drink, he waves away Khayman's intent to buy the first round. "No this one is on me, I insist."

For himself he orders a scotch, neat. Which he will sip once he gets. He could drink most men under the table easily, but these were not ordinary men, he would pace himself.
Ordering a whiskey with a beer chaser, he relaxed back in his seat and looked about the place taking in the sites and scenery. This wasn't his normal kind of haunt but he knew of the place. I'm not going to ask how you two lab rats found this place, but it'll do for now.
Rats are shrewd little critters arent they Sarge? Hard to keep them out of anywhere. Quipped Aaron, as he ordered the loudest, fruitiest, frilliest (yet still packing a mean punch) drink he could find on the menu.
Viego grinned at the Sarge, and ordered his usual which at this bar was a drink called the Glitterboy, it was heavily alcoholic and glittered like gold which he enjoyed the drink. Also it was pricy and well he felt like enjoying himself since he wasn't paying.
Marcus sat down and ordered a whiskey and cola. He had heard about these, so he figured he actually try one. Of course he had never been too any of these kinds of places.  Granted he had seen nightclubs like this on the vids but he had never snuck out like his brothers had. The idea had crossed his mind sure, but he was a by the rules kinda guy, hence he really tried not to break them.  The only rule he bent was the one with Lyn and that was sort of a …gray area.

He raised his glass to his brothers and commanders, "To our new C.O. May he see us through our missions with a string of successes!"
Nolan acknowledges the toast by raising his tumbler of scotch, and draining the remnants in one gulp. "Here, here."

"My focus will be on making sure you ALL come home, in one piece every time. That is going to be my primary measure of success."

"Tomorrow I will be doing a lot of reading, as they are likely going to have me do a thorough examination of all your dossiers. So what I'd like to know tonight, is what is not in your psyche profiles.. what gets you out of bed in the morning? What do you gentlemen do for fun? In other words, i want to know the men under my command. Fair is fair though, you are welcome to ask me questions, no holds barred. Of course, I might not answer em, but your fine to ask."

While he waits, he orders another scotch.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
