We left people behind masquerading as the Generis Defense remember, if the Imperials arrive first, they can warn your droid off, if the Imperials haven't arrived they can redirect it here. It is too dangerous for you to travel there, right into the Imperials. It would take you 3 hours to get there in the Bulwark, if what you say is true, you'd get there just before the Imperial Star Destroyer, if not after it."[/b]

" Then let's go talk to Worynn!", exclaims Ubis.

" Agreed"

Woryn smiles, and is about to say nore, when suddenly the comm unit on his wrist gives a sqawk.

"Worynn, ther's been a development..."  Tak's gruff voice can be heard.

Worynn suddenly looks worried.. "Umm.. if you will excuse me a moment. We seem to be interrupted again."

He rises from the table, and ducks inside one if the cliff-dwellings adjacent to the square.

Moments later he reappears, and waves at Jendu to come over.

Assuming Jendu does.
[Korstynn can make a Perception check DC15 to overhear]

"there has been two developments that have.. escalated the situation. First the Empire has bumped the bounty to 10,000 credits. Second there has been no less than four bounty hunters seen on Ririmanna VI, asking about Sym Alvira. The good news is there are now three bounty hunters known to be on the hunt, not four. They got into a fire-fight against each other and one was killed. Obviously the Empire has figured out whatever Syn knows, and whatever it is they have upped the ante. The names of the bounty hunters remaining Ririmanna VI are Jelyn Seruna, a Mon Cal; Sensii Maleri, a female dug known to use a Soroauub Firelance; and a human male named Bato Xyanis. the bounty hunter that was killed was a human named Hyet Vilane"

"I don't think we can send just one bounty hunter anymore, now that the bounty has been increased, the Empire is drawing actual hunters, not just the bottom of the barrel. All three of those bounty hunters are known to bring accomplices."

" I do not know if you were authorized to bring more credits.."
[OoC you were only authorized to offer a maximum 5,000 credits]  "... but that other group, they both have a ship, where this Korstyn does not, so would have to book passage to get there. They can get there directly, , Tak says he is willing to offer them another Cloakshape, without the hyperdrive sled, we  can't spare any of those, if it will get them to transport Korstynn, and assist her in bringing Sym in safely. He is definitelyt running scared, so he's gonna take some convincing to come along. It's not like we have badges that say we're the good guys."

"This IS an unfortunate development," Jendu replies quietly.  "I was only authorized to offer a maximum of 5,000 credits and after the purchase of my two droids I don't have enough credits to sweeten the offer and be reimbursed later until maybe next month, otherwise I wouldn't have any problem helping out."  Jendu pauses to consider the situation then asks, "So is there anything you would like me to do?  I could attempt to negotiate with the other crew to see if they will help find Sym?  We don't know if the group and Korstyn will even work together.  Korstyn is a bit of a loner, and she can be about as warm and friendly as an enraged Wampa.  So there's no telling if either will agree to the suggestion.  But I can try."

Korstyn rises and approaches them.  "I heard what you said.  I don't care what will get sent at me.  I agreed to the contract already and this changes nothing."

"We certainly can try, I can speak for the Atrivis Resistance in that regard, while you can speak for the senators that you represent. Combined hopefully we can convince them."

"That helmet has a sensory package eh?" Worynn grins, "That saves time explaining the situation,"We need this done sooner, not later. And without a ship you'd be arranging passage between worlds. If we can get that other crew and their ship to sign on, we might be able to skip the delays you will encounter in getting between world'

"Guess we either go meet them after our dinner, or we hope they show up here."

@'Shunna Maza", @'IT-O (Zero) ' are you agreeing to head to town to find Tak or Worynn regarding getting the people left at Generis Station to either warn the droid Long off and redirect him here when he arrives at Generis?

@Ubi Sunt, and @Dez Synn' do you agree with Shunna's assessment about what should be kept and what should be sold, in the OoC thread

It's like the party either has answere 1/2 of what is going on, but no one has responded to both

Korstyn pauses for a moment, just long enough to feign hesitation.  "Something like that.  Those other hunters, it will be a true pleasure testing their mettle in open combat.  I don't think any of them are Mandalorian, but if they are, it will be glorious."

She shifts topics as he does.  "As far as the ones I came with, aren't they searching for their own ship?  If that is the case, how exactly do you think they plan on micromanaging two shuttles at once with so small a crew?"

Dez, Shunna, Ubis, & Zero

Having taken possession of the Wrathful Bulwark, with it's compliment of  a Cloakshape fighter (and astromch co-pilot), and 4 speeder bikes, you move your gear to it's storage.  It actually has a seperate armoury, mechanic's workshop and the hangar bay, so your meager posessions are almost lost in the cavernous space.
It has 9 separate bunk rooms, each with a bunk bed so they can accommodate 2 people.

The standard escape pod that is normally on the starboard (right) side of the ship has been replaced with a turret, matching the one on the port (left side)

In the cargo/hangar bat there is a rack of concussion missiles for the cloakshape, 16 medium concussion missiles in all (one full payload for the cloakshape which is currently unloaded for maintenance) (value 12,000 cr @ 750cr per missile)

Do you now head into the village?

"We don't know anything about them so we have no information about their lost ship," Jendu replies.  "But we do have many spies so we might even be able to help locate it.   As my friend here stated, we need to speak with them personally to find out what their plans are.  Are you friends with these people?  For our sakes I hope you left them with better first impressions than the first impressions you left our last group."

"Lets quickly make sure everything is here and in working order, so we can get out of here to look for the Wildcard.  We'll have to shoehorn the Wildcard in the Cargo bay but once it is, we'll have a nice little assortment of vehicles to help us with some trading."

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
