[IC] Gemeris Station [Everyone]
#41
Knowledge Galactic Lore: [1d20+8] = 3+8 = 11; With -5 = 6

Unless the check is a 5, Shunna is clueless about the ship.

Shunna had entered a Force Trance and meditated for the last hour.

Quote:Force Trance:  In this state, you remain fully aware of your surroundings. Each hour you remain in the trance, you regain a number of hit points equal to your character level. You can emerge from the trance as a Swift Action. If you remain in a Force trance for 4 consecutive hours, you emerge from the trance fully rested (As though you'd rested for 8 hours). While you're in a Force Trance, you can go ten times as long as normal without air, food, or water (See the Endurance Skill).

When they land, Shunna opens her eyes and stands.  "Zero, translate this please to the Njon so there's no mistake.  Do not show any signs of hostility.  We are their guests, hopefully.  But even if they treat us like Imperial Spies, co-operate fully.  We need to prove we're on their side of the conflict.  We might be able to swap this ship for another.  I'm sure the resistance could find a use for an Imperial Shuttle in their own spy missions."

Shunna steps to the ramp and takes a deep breath...  [success automatic]

[Searching Feelings: As a Full-Round Action, you can make a DC 15 Use the Force check to determine whether an action will yield favorable or unfavorable results to you in the immediate future (10 minutes or less). ]

She assumes she will be safe but, Shunna searches her feelings if stepping out and giving up will yield favorable results?

[Assuming it will...]

Shunna presses the button to open the ramp and then slowly walks down the ramp with her hands up.  Once she deems it safe enough, she will call the rest of the crew to come out too with their hands up.

Before Shunna lowers the ramp, her feelings tell her the result will be positive. She descends the ramp first, but only slightly ahead of the impatient besalisk. Everyone else waits for the all clear.

No sooner has Ubi sidles up beside Shunna to face the massed firearms pointed in their direction than a voice shouts out above the gathered militia. It is broadcast over a loudspeaker, you suspect the source of the voice is inside the control tower.

"Stop right there, that's far eno..  holy nerf-turd.. Ubi is that you? You almost got yourself blasted you ugly swamp-rat."
"STAND DOWN EVERYONE!!   He's one o'ours. Be right down."  Despite the familiarity in the tone, Ubi is having trouble recognizing the voice through the distortion of the loudspeaker.

Everyone pauses, waiting what seems forever, until  you see a sullustan glide out in a repulsor-chair. Ubi suddenly grins as he recognizes Iak Hallest, one of the best snubfighter mechanics in the Outer Rim, despite the fact that he has no legs due to a rather unfortunate 'incident' that he refuses to talk about.

"Where's the Wild Card? They figured you'd been captured or worse when you din't show up three days ago. Nevermind, I'm not supposed to know what you was doing?  Where's Lee-ack? Inside?"   He looks up the ramp expectantly.

[A little history:      Because for thos players that were here it has been awhile, and for Ubi this is all new even though for his character it is old news:     Lee'ack was one of your crew, a sullustan pilot. She was killed when another of your crew, the human Karrett, double-crossed you all and sobotaged the Wild card, knocking her out of hyperspace an disabling the hyperdrive, before your battle droid overpowered and killed him.     That was what started this whole mess with you barely surviving fleeing the Imperials into the Minefield, and being rescued by Shunna in her Z95 Headhunter, before she was shot down herself.   You had put into the Rock for repairs, and the salvagers captured and sold Shunna, who later met up with you mid-rescue, after having already escaped.

Belatedly Ubi remember that Iak and Lee'ack were a couple.]

For thos that need to know what a Sullustan looks like" [Image: Jl9ApMgm.png]

Ubi pauses and sighs, then slowly and softly says, "We where double crossed by Karrett, who murdered Lee'ack, before we where able to end him, we barely escaped the imperials with our hides. I will buy you a few drinks and we'll toast her memory, but damn she was a good pilot!" Ubi then offers him a 4 armed hug. "I was hopingto find the Wildcard here, with her cargo, as unfortunately she was piloted someplace here in this sector without us, as we kinda got stuck in a planet side scuffel that was intruded on by the Imperials".

Shunna listens to what's said.  When it's obvious they all know each other very well and Ubi likely would have more loyalty toward them than her, despite the rescue attempt, she looks at Ubi and whispers, ~You will not tell anyone that you've seen Callie or I use the force.~

UTF: [1d20+15] = 9+15 = 24; Mind Trick

[Mind Trick:  Make a Use the Force check. If you equal or exceed the target's Will Defense, you make an otherwise unpalatable suggestion seem completely reasonable to the target. You must be able to communicate with the target, and the suggestion can't obviously threaten the target's life. The target won't realize later that what he did is unacceptable.]

[She then spends a full round action to return Mind Trick to her Suite of powers.]

A few minutes pass, with the young sullustan just sitting in abject silence. Unsure how to even respond after hearing such news.

Do you tell the others the coast is clear?  no one else has yet ventured down the ramp. Neither Shunna, nor Ubi have given the all clear.

[OoC:  Well, Shunna felt Ubi was the one to take the lead.  They are his friends. But... ]

"Great," Shunna says with relief.  "You know each other.  Can we put our arms down now?"

Hearing a distinct lack of laser fire, Dez decides it might be safe, and descends the ramp to see what is going on.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
