5e Spelljammer game

I posted this earlier but for some reason it didn't take.

The Satyr is in, Mythic Odysseys of Theros.  I think a Satyr and bard are very thematic.  One of my instruments would of course be the pan pipes.  

I am guessing the post whuich gives this context is  also missing, since this is your first post in this thread

I will play too but I don't have a lot of experience with 5e but I have created 1 character (with help).  Considering a bard.  Are Satyr's available?

Both those Dhowar links are the same, but I am totally fine with that writeup.

for Stat generation I am comfortable with either Standard Array or Rolls as 4d6, drop lowest arrange freely.  I also think the idea of a Giff monk is kind of awesome.  I was planning on starting at 1, but if all three of you would like to start higher, I am fine with that too up to Level 3 so that people can start with their subclass, or a multi-dip arrangement.  Everyone does need to come to an agreement of which they want to go with.  Given Marvel and Vitkyng's unfamiliarity with 5e it might be better to start at 1 to let them feel the build as they go.

A satyr bard sounds pretty cool and I have no problem with Mythic Odysseys.

do you the backgrounds as part of character generation?
I am leaning towards the giff fighter at 1st to start [so the others can get the learning curve of thier characters), and plan on picking up the gunslinger archtype, as thatsuits giff to a tee.

although I am liking the idea of a giff monk that moves to kensia, so that the giff weapons become monk weapons, but my concern is that a monk will not be tanky enough s the primary melee combatant

offical Stat #1 = [4d6c1] = 13 - (DEX) + 1 Racial = 14
offical Stat #2 = [4d6c1] = 9 - (CHA)
offical Stat #3 = [4d6c1] = 15 - (STR) + 2 Racial = 17
offical Stat #4 = [4d6c1] = 17 - (WIS)
offical Stat #5 = [4d6c1] = 12 - (CON)
