She targets as many creatures as possible without hitting the group.

- Rat (2) rushes up to Nightingale before she can rush forward and bites the hell out of her leg. It rips open a great slash in her leg, blood splatters spectacularly onto the dusty floor

(DM - Nightingale take 4 damage)

- A second Rat (3) rushes up to Arius and lunges at him, but it misses completely.
- Arius whirls his whip at the Rat who attacked him. His whip slices neatly across the creatures throat killing it instantly.

- Nightingale lashes out at the rat, clubbing the hell out of it with her mace, easily splitting it's head open, killing the creature with one blow.

(DM - I just double the total damage on critical hits, that way it avoids the sad face, lol.)

- Another rat (1) rushes over it's dead friend and gnashes at her as well, but it's teeth just rake off her Leather armor. Nightingale swings in retaliation but her blow goes wide, almost unbalancing her.

(DM - Nightingale, roll a Dexterity Save)

- One Rat (6) rushes up the stairs.

- Mivia casts a spell and a misty haze shimmers across the room.  Three rats fall right over, the spell having rendered them unconscious.  (Rats 1, 4, and 5 are Asleep.)

- Athos sends a small crackle of lighting at one of the rats (6) entering the room, but the spell misses.
- Kriv sends a bolt of fire at the same rat (6), He hits it and the thing squeals wildly and is burned quite badly but the vicious little bastard keeps rushing toward the group.

- Another Rat (7) rushes up the stairs.

(DM - Post for Round TWO!)

The first rat's teeth dug into her flesh, Nightingale had gotten cocky and overconfident and it had cost her as pain burst forth from her leg as she ended the poor creature's life.

She would not fall prey to the same issues again she thought as she dodged with a fluidity most could never even dream of to avoid the gnashing, jagged teeth of the second giant rat in front of her. She tried to continue her movement and bring down her mace on the attacking rat but she slipped on some viscera she had extracted from the other rat laying dead at her feet and it took nearly everything she had not to fall flat on her arse. The attack obviously went nowhere though.

The monk's eyes narrow at Arius' words.

"I. Am. Not. A lady!" the unarmoured specialist tells the whip wielder, every enunciated word dripping with poison.

She looked to bring her fury down on the rat in front of her but saw it was now laying unconscious, it's body heaving with breath but asleep, like two of its kin thanks to the magics of Mivia. She thought of dashing forward to engage the new rats rushing up the stairs but the pain in her leg wound and Arius' words reached her, even in her indignation of his address.

She pulled a sharp metallic object from a pouch on the front of her shirt and threw it towards the incoming rats, her scowl still hidden under her mask.

Dexterity Save: 1d20+6 24

Dart Attack: 1d20+6 14
Dart Damage: 1d4+4 5

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
