Selina yelps a little as she is toppled over, feet over head, and lands on Tomeal's chest, their armored breastplates clanking in protest.  The proud Selunite looks down at her faithful companion, fiery hair draped all around, and can't help but laugh at how fate treats them.

"Not too disappointed, are you?"

"Devastated," Tomeal replies jokingly.  "But I think you should wait a minute or two before getting up.  You might be disoriented from being thrown to the ground.  I don't mind waiting."

[OoC: What is the party going to do with the magic items?  And remember you still have that bandage that heals too. Even though it duplicates the Lesser Vigor spell, it shouldn't require a Torque Roll any more than a Ring of Regeneration would require a Roll.]

Quote:The Clean White Bandage isn't a consumable item.  It is actually an, Eternal Bandage of Lesser Vigor.   When you wrap it around a wound the bandage turns blood red.  As the the wearer's hit points increase the blood red color slowly fades.  The Eternal Bandage has the ability to cast a Lesser Vigor spell (CL1) on any damaged person who wears it for the duration of the spell (11 rounds).  Once activated the Bandage remains activated for 1 hour.  During this time you may split up the 11 hit points of healing among other injured persons.  The Eternal Bandage may be used 2 times per day.

While the rest of the party focuses on identifying the new found items, Kubo starts collecting dead vegetation and kindling, and building a fire to provide thier camp some light and warmth, but much of the vegetation is to damp and burns fitfully and with,  Survival Skill Check = [1d20+6] = 5+6 = 11 initally

[[OoC: Good point, I almost forgot about the bandage.  That would bring Selina and Tomeal closer to full, and 11 rounds is a touch over a minute.]]

Selina, while her face is shrouded by her hair, gives Tomeal a special smile that brings out the twinkle in her Amber eyes, before she winks and slowly climbs to her feet, giving him a hand up.  She suddenly remembers something and doesn't know how she forgot about it ((Tongue)), searching through her pack and fishing out the magical bandage they had found on the dead cleric before they beat up on Unreth.  "I just remembered this.  This should help us both quite a lot.  Is anyone else injured?"

Current Damage:
  • Ning: Fully healed.
  • Kubo: Damage 7
  • Selina: Damage 27
  • Simon: Damage 25
  • Tomeal: Damage 27
  • Betimi: Damage 7
  • Dog: Damage 2
  • Crozar: Damage 5

Healing after 8 hours of rest: (Repeating this for the benefit of the new players)
  • d4 heals 1hp/level
  • d6 heals 1.5/level (round down)
  • d8 heals 2/level
  • d10 heals 2.5/level (round down)
  • d12 heals 3/level

If Tomeal is a 5th level fighter, after 8 hours sleep he would regain 12.5 hit points (or 12hp when rounded down).  Selina is a Cleric 4/ Crusader 1, so she would regain: 4 (cleric levels) x 2hp = 8;  Plus 1 (crusader level) x 2.5 = 2.5;  Total of 10.5 or 10 when rounding down.

So if Tomeal and Selina uses the bandage they would heal 11 hit points leaving them with 16pts of damage taken.  In the morning Tomeal will recover 12hp more leaving him with 4 damage left to heal.  Selina will recover 10hp's leaving her with 6 damage left to heal.

Simon will regain 7(level) x 1.5 = 10.5 (10 rounded down) after 8 hours of rest.  So he will still be suffering 10 points of damage.

Kubo will heal 8 and be fully restored.

Crozar will heal only 1 hit point so it will be left with 4 hit points to heal.

So keep this in mind as you're healing before resting for the night.

Yes but after 8 hours rest you will recover 8 hit points.  It's the characters who won't be at full hit points after resting that need healing before anyone goes to sleep for the night so the slots can be filled again in the morning (or midnight in Selina's case.)  Remember, every spell cast is a chance of the Torque making it blow up in your faces.

[[Ayup. And Selina is always partial to giving healing to others who are in the same state over herself. So seeing Simon and Tomeal both with some damage, she will tend to them before herself. She, evidently, has never heard of burnout.]]

Crozar mentions that it has a couple of healing potions, but if there is renewable healing it would appreciate anything that is offered.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
