Eva's following the others when it's her turn.
Eva's swim check: [1d20+4] = 11+4 = 15

Once everyone is through, Gurkagh is going to simply sit on teh shoreline and wait for the nausea to pass. Then he is going to llook around for a large rock that he can heft (12-20 lnbs.)

Unless they got lucky with 3 Fortitude saves, it's likely everyone is sick.  But within a minute the negative affects soon pass.

The water here averages only 2 feet deep, and maintains the same unhealthy taint found outside in the Weeping Lake. The foul-smelling air makes the eyes water in this cave, but despite this worrying effect, has no further impact on creatures. Scorch marks on the shore are all that remain of patches of (harmless) mold that previous adventurers burned away.

Dampness hangs in the air of this cave, condensing into heavy moisture on the slick, stone walls. The calm, dark waters continue northward for 20' to 30' then wind around to the east, out of sight.  A five-foot-high ledge sporting several stalagmites rises to the east, beyond which a low-ceilinged cave beckons.

[OoC: You are currently standing on the shore (the light beige area) close to the top left-hand corner.  Where do you want to go? Is there anything you still wanted to do or anything you see that needs further exploring?]

[OoC2: To the new players; everything revealed on the map has been pretty much cleared out.  There are a few skulks hiding, but they're currently allied to the group.  The exit out of this area is in the bottom right-hand corner.]

Reawyn speaks up once he has regained his composure.

"I believe we should first deal with the body trapped by the brown mold ."

[OoC that's the cold room]

E.S.S.A.C.C.U.S-10 asks, "what type of damage are brown molds susceptjble too?, I remember that most molds and slimes are susceptible to one form of damage or another"

"Cold," Cin replies.  "It's why Reawyn reminded Eva to prepare a cold cantrip."

Cin shrugs, "Could be anything.  One things for sure, gunslingers never lead the way."  She then politely bows while gesturing to the north.  "After you, sir."

[Did Gurkagh find a nice big rock? Is it a Small rock or a Medium rock.. ]

Quote:VWeapon Size
Every weapon has a size category. This designation indicates the size of the creature for which the weapon was designed.

A weapon’s size category isn’t the same as its size as an object. Instead, a weapon’s size category is keyed to the size of the intended wielder. In general, a light weapon is an object two size categories smaller than the wielder, a one-handed weapon is an object one size category smaller than the wielder, and a two-handed weapon is an object of the same size category as the wielder.

Gurkagh will heft his stone and follow ESSACUS upriver with the ioun torch still circling his head, unless one of the other people who purchesed it wants it (Cyn or Reawyn).

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
