[OoC: It's no problem.  I honestly like to know if I'm remembering the rules properly.  But I do use certain rules from 3.0 and Pathfinder, anyways.  I use whatever makes sense to me.  So I would have continued using the diagonal distance as 5' then 10'.  Giving you a heads up, I also like to use the 3.0 cover rules because I don't like the dumbed down version in 3.5e.  If a dragon is hiding under the water with just enough of its head to poke its eyes out then he's getting the benefits of 9/10ths cover for hiding (or +10 hide bonus).  There are rules for this in 3.5e but they describe it as "Improved Cover" but don't go into any detail what exactly qualifies as Improved Cover.  At least not in the SRD.]

[[ Yes it did.  That's why I said Kubo could see all of them now and Selina could now see 2 of them at the start of her turn. She will see more when she moves closer.  Your spitfire is not a disintegration effect.  Kubo's action is only a half second behind yours and Selina's about a second.  ]]

The Fur-Bees are so startled by the sudden firestorm that they scatter.

Kubo throws a hand axe at the critter(A) and it narrowly misses it.  He then moves backward (to E7).

Selina then steps through the thick foliage and in one fluid motion swings her Great Sword, with bright greenish energy slithering up, down and around the blade and hilt , crashes down upon the creature(A).  The beast's body burst apart from the pounding sonic attack, spraying blood and gore in all directions.  

(With that much damage, Selina has pretty much disemboweled, skinned, and turned the critter into a new coat!)

Both Simon and Tomeal move through the dense terrain toward the creatures but cannot engage.  Tomeal places himself between the last creature and the party.
