Another player has asked to join.  They have inquired about a rogue but I think that might be because he either heard we were looking for one or read about it.  So do you still want to play a second character?  If you do, do you still want to be the thief or do you want to be an 'extra blade' as you mentioned.  I'm fairly sure the new player wouldn't care.  They just like playing some kind of martial character.

The neww player in question (my brother)  read your post from june saying we have a wizard as our third character but still no rogue.

He usually plays warrior types and non-spellcasters (GM Marvel knows this from our old table top 2e days lol.. when he actually played at your table 20 years ago lol)

Well, we have redistributed the magic items something like 3 or 4 times.  I don't think I want to do that again.  It's too big a pain in the ass to keep changing our characters. So what I will do is let him pick off the list and if/when he picks an item that I don't want more than one of, like the Scimitar of Speed +4 or it's an item that the player already has 2 of like Aly has a Sword +4 (which she would keep) and the Giant Slayer (because it is too good to just leave behind) then either something else will be offered or the character can give up their second item.  Aly doesn't care who has the giant slayer, just as long as someone in the group has it.  Though I don't remember there being a lot of giants in Ravenloft but a Giant Slayer +2 that does double damage (+1) vs giants (2d12+3) would be helpful.  Giants might be something I can add in the future though.   Tongue 

I also suggest to him to check out the Iron Gods game.  We could use a martial character since Ney disappeared again after only posting 2 or 3 times.

I don't think Templates exist in 2e.  I think they only let humans be vampires.  That could change through.

But yea, I'm good with playing a second character and going straight halfling rogue with him.  That way it opens up for the new guy to play what he wants.

I picked out some items from the list for my character Rhodric[url=https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=2265991[/url], and marked them on the list, just want to make sure no one objects to my selections before I add them to my character sheet, and post it.
