The Sunless Citadel - (Chapter One)

"What order shall we descend? I will go first if no one else wishes."

[Kriv Turnuroth]

Kriv, smiles "I am rather large I should either go last or close to it."

[Athos Blackwind]

Athos turns to the others as the origin of the writing dawns on him, "This is goblin script. But we knew they were likely involved." He drops readies himself. "Most of my spells are effective at range. I will provide cover and healing as the others descend."

[DM Spiral]

(DM - Roll Athletics to descend the rope. You descend in the order that you roll.  Then roll Perception to keep a look out as you go down or cover from the top.)

[Nightingale]

Nightingale says nothing as she approaches the others deciding who to go first. Grabbing a tight grip of the rope, she descends into the citadel.

Athletics: 1d20+3 14
Perception: 1d20+4 24

[Arius Dezlentyr]

Seeing Nightingale take the decision of who shall go first out of their hands, Arius simply shrugs. 

He walks over to the rope and hesitates just a moment to let her get about 15' feet below him before he grips the ropw in his leather gloved hands and begins to rappel down.

Athletics [1d20+4] = 12+4 = 16

Perception [1d20+1] = 19+1 = 20

When he reaches the bottom, he will light the hooded lantern he purchased, holding it high in his free left hand.

Kriv wants to wait but decides it might be best to see if he can make it down with people to help so he goes next.


Perception: 1d20+3=11
Athletics: 1d20+2=8

[Athos Blackwind]

Athos tries to keep an eye on his companions as they descend, but a bit of goblin script catches his eye and he dips into a bit of thought trying to puzzle it out.

Perception: 1d20+6 = 7

Kriv's grip slips on the rope and he begins to fall.
