[OoC: Yes it's been 24hours]

"I am no longer bound to any spirit, but perhaps I should wait to see what obstacles we face?"

You take in your surroundings and find you're in an enormous cave filled with mostly green jungle-like plantlife with splashes of large, brightly colored flower patches of all colors that dot the cave floor and crawl up the walls all the way up to the opening in the ceiling.  You also hear a rumbling sound coming from deeper in the cave.  The Kobolds and Betimi who live in the underground believe it's likely a waterfall.

Selina looks at Simon for a moment.  "You said earlier that this was the energy we were to investigate, yes?"

She has a look around for herself, a smile slowly growing on her lovely features.  It looked...fairly normal to her.  Peaceful, in fact.  She could sleep quite comfortably in a meadow such as this one, without fear.

To Betimi, Simon replies, "I've heard of what is called binders, as they tap into ancient and often forbidden knowledge to gain supernatural power.  Honestly it's really more just folk tales from ages past. But I have not personally delved into that sphere of study.  Without knowledge of your particular skills I am unable to advise you."

Then to Selina, Simon replies, "Yes, this this the energy I was searching for.  It's possible we are witnessing the energy's affects all around us.  I'm not sure about the creatures but the flora is definitely out of place.  Most of these plants, especially the flowers require sunlight to flourish but yet they are obviously thriving!"

"If we are going to discover more we need to move. I suggest we start by spiralling out in a search pattern? We need to find the extent of this cavern, and the direction the energy is coming from."

She looks at Selina to give the order, while she loads and readies her crossbow.

Selina nods in response to both.

"Agreed, but not too far out.  We should not split up if it will leave us alone in an unfamiliar place such as this.  As pleasant as these immediate surroundings be, let us not grow careless."

You all start spiralling out from your landing point in search of anything interesting.  The foliage is thick, making it difficult to navigate.  The strange Fur-bees buzz around you all watching your every move.  You notice the sound of rushing water is louder to the north of the cave.  You soon find evidence of a faint path that leadings you northward through the stone wall of the cavern.  Peering inside the tunnel you spot a faint light that you guess might be about 100' away.

[OoC: Does that mean you're going to enter the tunnel by yourself?]

[OoC that's his suggestion, but he was asking not just doing so waiting on Selina or Betimi to reply]

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
