While reading through some stuff I realized MiB didn't mention exactly how long the Water Breathing spell lasts.  All he said was, "spells don't last forever."  At the time it was cast there were 9 players.  The adventure says that with his rod of extension the WB magic will last 24hrs divided equally among the players which would be about 2 hrs 40min.  Since MiB stated that the frog's blinding effect lasts an hour, the group has been in the cave for quite awhile.  You guys might consider returning before the spell's duration ends. You can then train, restock and refresh the WB.  I think there is 4 of us so it will last 6hrs.

Just letting you guys know that I'm almost finished going over the threads and the adventure.  I needed to make sure I not only knew where you are currently but also where you've been.


There is a couple things i should remind you of that you may have forgotten.  First there is a mold that's still down here that is up to you guys if you want to still destroy.  Second,  you found 2 bodies.  You can do what you like with them or just leave them.  Isn't one of them still infested with immature mold which made it difficult to retrieve the armor it's wearing?

Yes, we left the one alone. The other one I thought we searched and it had been stripped already

Do you have a map? Where are we now and where are these bodies? I have joined later to the party, I have taken control of Eva's character before we went through a door/gate, if I remember correctly. We got some cards from ....... creatures.
I have to refresh my memory. Can you summarize the more important events?
Why are we here? We are looking for a missing party, aren't we? Were these persons member of the missing party? Are we following their path? There were some alien skeletons, a robot, a sparking machinery.

This is the last map MiB gave you guys.  The top right door the group tried to get through but failed.  The bottom right door is the door I believe we went through.  (I haven't gotten to that part yet.)  I will try to add more later.  I think much of what is going on is in this thread.

So we can reach the one body in the room with the stalactmites top left, right by the entrance pool, but we have no way to defeat the brown mod on the other body.  Do you think we should collect the one body we can reach (the half-orc I think it was) and return it to town? Rest, train up and come back?

Didn't MiB tell you guys after one of you made a knowledge check that the mold could be destroyed instantly with (I think) cold damage?

Eva told you guys this:

"Brown Mold, it'll suck the heat from your body if you get too close. It feeds on flames but can be killed with cold." Eva explains quickly before anyone tries their luck with the passage.

I don't know how respectful it would be but maybe you guys could drag the body out with a grappling line.  Just make sure you leave a safe distance between you and it or it's popsicle time!
