Quote:The guard holding Dez grabs her by the elbows and hop walks her south towards the surgical theatre.

[OoC: That's what I originally suspected but your post made it sound like only one guard was escorting her, not two. ]

Zero flies by the men moving the woman [Speed 12 flying; Move to BI-63] and blocks their entrance into the surgical theater.

"Entry into the Surgical theater with the intention of using the facility by unauthorized personnel is strictly prohibited.  I must ask you to return the patient to her bio-bed and allow me to continue my examination.  I will not be responsible for the consequences if you do not heed my warning."  Zero's tool appendage (With Multifunction apparatus) calmly cycles through it's various attachments... scalpel, syringe and buzz saw... as if it might be deciding which attachment to use on the guards.

[OoC: Using the Interrogator Feat to intimidate the two men who are holding Dez so I use Treat Injury instead of Persuasion; Treat Injury +16; Result 32; ]
Interrogator: You can create an aura of unliving, emotionless menace that no biological creature can match and combine it with the cruel application of medical knowledge.  You can use your Treat Injury modifier on a Persuasion check to change attitude or intimidate.  You must be adjacent to your target to use this ability, in addition to the normal requirements for these uses of the Persuasion skill.

The two guards stop, and look back over at their commanding officer, unsure of what to do, they begin to move back towards the nearest examination bed, dragging Dez with them.

Intimidate:
Intimidate

As a Full-Round Action, you can make a Persuasion check to force a single creature with an Intelligence of 1 or higher to back down from a confrontation, surrender one of it's possessions, reveal a piece of secret information, or flee from you for a short time. The creature must be able to see you. Your check result must equal or exceed the target's Will Defense for the intimidation attempt to succeed. You can't force the target to obey your every command or do something that endangers it; life or the lives of it's allies. A creature you successfully intimidate becomes one step more hostile toward you as soon as you are no longer an immediate threat (See Attitude table above). Apply a modifier to the check based on the threat the target perceives from you:

Even with the -10 modifier for outnumbering yu you easily succeed

"What the drek are you two doing?! I gave you an order!"

While they start to take her back to the bio-bed, Zero follows and quickly examines the woman and guards.  Mainly the droid is looking for any injuries or restraints that would keep her from fighting as well as what kind of weapons everyone has at their disposal.

[Perception +11; Result 30! ]

Dez appears barely conscious [-4 steps on the condition track, Move at Half Speed; -10 Penalty to all Defenses; -10 Penalty on Attack Rolls, Ability Checks, and Skill Checks] though this appears to be mostly from stun damage.

The station security guards are armed with Sorosuub Firelance Blaster Rifles and Stun Batons.

Theda Bara is wielding a BlasTech DT-12 Heavy Blaster Pistol

The two guards, one holding Dez have taken maybe three steps when suddenly there is a loud <SQAWK> from Zero's internal comm-link as well as the medbay main computer control console as the station comms suddenly go back online. By the brief surprised looks on the guard's faces the comms in their helmets have suddenly come back on as well.

Immediately there is an exchange of heated conversation through the comms...

~"Lambda shuttle Barthierum, this is control tower Delta, you are requested to deactivate your engines and shut down, you are not clear for departure."~

~"This is the Barthierum, any action taken against us will be seen as treason against the Galactic Empire. YTou are to release Commander Kratos to us unharmed. Failure to do so will result in harsh repercussions."~

~"We are not holding your commander prisoner. We do not have contact with him or his security team, they were last heard assisting our security teams in quelling an escape attempt by the inmates of the mines.~

~"Bantha-shit!!  We all saw that broadcast, your security team attempted to assault our troopers."~

~"We saw the holo-stream, your troopers cut our men down..~

Moments later a third voice comes through the open comms channel...

~"Oh, uhh... AHHHH, THEY JUST BLASTED KRATOS, HE'S DEAD, THEY KILLED HIM!"~

Immediately the conversation ends as the sound of blaster fire erupts through the comms...

The commander glares at Zero, then at Theda briefly as if gauging the situation.

"This can wait!! You and you, he gestures at the two guards by Dez, STAY HERE with the prisoner. The rest of you are coming with me to reinforce!"

Then to Theda, "The mayor will settle up with you after."

The two guards shove Dez onto the nearest examination bed while the rest of the guards run towards the medbay doors.

[OoC Zero can you put a link to your character sheet in your signature or post your character in the character sheets thread? I don't like having to dig through old private messages to find your character sheet. It is getting buried pretty deep.]

Zero will watch as the majority of the guards run out of the room.  He wasn't sure why they would want to make this woman into a slave.  The droid knew everything there was to know about the human reproductive system but sexual desire was lost on him.  Zero did recall what it was like to have a restraining bolt attached when he had a medical droid chaise and he didn't fancy the idea of being part of essentially attaching a restraining bolt to this woman to turn her into a sex slave.

"Please stand back and give me room while I assess her injuries.  She is heavily damaged and this may take a while," Zero exaggerates.

Zero moves his spherical body in between the woman and the guards to block their view of what he was doing.  "The wounds on this woman's body are quite serious..."

[OoC: Droid Talent; Dull the Pain (???): As a full-round action you can make a DC15 Treat Injury check on an adjacent living creature to move it +1 step on the condition track.; Treat injury +16; Result Automatic ]

Dez's eye briefly flutter open as she glances around the room past Zero. She looks at Zero again and mouths a silent thank you before closing her eyes and feigning unconsciousness.

The two guards, intimidated as they are by Zero's deadly implements, keep back a few paces allowing him to tend to Dez.

Theda paces impatiently for a few seconds before stomping over to the medbay control panel.

Grabbing the comms mic she begins to fiddle with the console looking for the comms controls.

"If there is something you require I would be happy to assist you.  But I must ask you to stop touching the medical diagnostic computers.  I am programmed by the owner, I believe your employer, to defend this med lab to prevent possible damage or sabotage to the expensive equipment."

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
