Entry Cavern
Reawyn waits for the others just outside the door, before turning and taking the lead going in.. trying as hard as he can to watch for any pressure plates or trip-wires

[Perception: trapfinding +5]
Ursk takes the second place right after Reawyn.

Ooc: I found Ursk prev. XP in his signature: "Experience: 295". I suppose that is correct, don't I? Which character advancement was used by us (fast, normal, slow)?
[OoC the 295 would be correct.. as that is exactly what I had just before I added the new XP on Smile]

The walls, floor and ceiling of this slightly curved hallway are made of smooth dark gray metal. Panels of lighter material run along the ceiling eight feet above. To the north and south the tunnel is blocked by walls of metal junk and rubble, while open doorways yawn to the east and west.

[OoC: Can any of us with the Engineering Skill that also has the Feat or Trait that gives us the Technologist Feat, make a Skill check to figure out more about this metal or other technology like the sliding doors?  I have the Game Trait from the Iron Gods Adventure Path of Local Ties which gives me the Engineering Skill as a class skill, as well as a +1 bonus to that skill and the Technologist feat.]

Not wanting to distract Reawyn, Cin remained quiet while the Alchemist was checking for traps.  She was usually quite shy around strangers anyways so she was content with quietly offering suggestions like enchanting an item with the Mage Hand spell to trigger traps or to retrieve the frozen body and then watch for any danger for her pistol to deal with quickly.  She will also be doing what she can to keep herself to the shadows and moving quietly.

[OoC: Perception +6; Know: Engineering +6; Stealth +5]
[OoC Good point Cin.. Reawyn has rhe Technologist feat and Knowledge (Engineering) +5]

[OOC - So I think Eva had 295 too. So we all have 455 now, haven't we? Reawyn, why do you have only 445? Wink ]

Because apparently I suck at math when I am working and posting at the same time.
(Yes, so everyone should have the same xp total. If you look at the encounter threads, I put the xp award in the title after closing it. Add those and the encounter xp recently awarded for helping the skulks.

(The adventure gives no indication how this door was open, but given other descriptions it's likely a card was used. The metal appears to be Numerian Steel. It can only be found in Numeria. It's an exceptionally strong metal that is difficult to work with. It's very rare for anyone to try and salvage any of the strange metal.)

The doorway leads into another hallway with similar features. Here is another drone like the one the party fought in Khonnir's home. This one isn't making any threatening motions. Beyond the drone is another doorway.
Is it defeated by magic man or is it active but not threatening? Is there any sign of fight in the room?
The drone is seemingly in some kind of working order but isn't currently doing anything. The rubble appears to be from an ancient incident. There's no indication that a fight happened recently.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
