Edit Reason: Me talk pretty one day

Ursk's last swing of the axe ends the creature as the dwarf's battle cry fades into the cavern. Wild eyed, he looks about for another threat, then stumble a back a few steps from the creature, panting heavily and leaning on his axe.
OOC: I'll update signature shortly but that's a total of three rounds or rage for today And -6 hp..

Hearing the sudden quiet, except for Urks panting as he recovers from his wrath, Reawyn speaks calmly.
"I cannot see, that flash of light has seared my eyes. Rinsing with water did not help. I think we need to pause and guard ourselves, wait for this to pass. Unless someone has a method to restore our sight?"

"The creature lies slain by Ursk's bloody axe." Kayla says to her companions. "We will secure this area until your sight is returned - hopefully it will not take too long..."

Anybody doing anything in the hour it will take for people to see again?
There are two ways out of the cavern. The waterway to the North goes West. A tunnel branches off to the South right after the point where the party entered.

Chrome decides to find a wall to lean against., after a minute his sight not returning. "Should we move slowly and try to follow along a path?" he questions, "I don't know how long this will take, but it doesn't seem our sight is returning any time soon. Everything is extraordinarily white." He offers, figuring it'd be wasted time just hoping the group could see again. "

Reawyn blindly shakes his head at Chrome, then realizes that Chrome cannot see him any better.
"There are too many of us blinded to make that an advisable option. It is not like Ursk and Kayla will be able to guide all of us safely, at the same time protecting us. Let us at least bide an hour or two to see if it improves, if it does not by then, then we can reconsider our options."

Kayla agrees that they should wait for the others to regain their sight. However, she wants to just poke around a little to make sure there aren't any more frog-like things or those beetles close by.
"Ursk, let's make sure the immediate area is clear - just 10 or 20 feet in each direction to be sure. Are you with me?" |
