[OOC] Return to the Rusty Rat
Please note that shopping should have been finished before chapter 2-3 started. I can see that cutting issues revolve around QoE so let's clarify.

If your problem is lack of free quick draw then you can replace it and you also let the price of the incandescent blue stone unspent so a late call it is but go ahead.

If your concern is that you can't store wands in QoE but you'd be fine with draw as a move action then I can be convinced. I consider this an exploit but not necessarily a showbreaker.

Please note though that your changes in the shopping list shouldn't be in any correlation with chapter 2-3 and I reserve tree right to say you couldn't get this or that in last minute.

RE QoE: The item is now pointless because Toot's HHH is superior to the quiver and can call items as a Move Action with no AoO.  Why spend money on an inferior item?

RE Buying Magic: I posted my ideas for major purchases and was attempting to get other Player's opinions on my ideas.  That post is quoted below.  I also mentioned increasing Boo's intelligence.  I will likely stick to one of these ideas unless something really jumps out at me.

Quote:So I'm leaning toward buying the Helm of Comprehend Languages and Read Magic (To share with Boo) because it seems like it could be a useful item for the party.  Then later either buy Boo a Ioun stone +2 Int or add an enhancement bonus to the Helm like the Headband of Intellect.

or

I could also get my animated shield.  Just sell my old shield and armor and I should have enough money to buy a +1 animated shield.  My only question would be what size would I need?  A tiny shield may only give me the magic bonus or no benefit at all.  A large shield floating around Toot in regular form would be like a table hovering in front of him.  It would be difficult to see past.

OR

Toot could buy an Amulet of Mighty Fists which he could share with Boo that would give all of his natural attacks a +1 enhancement bonus.

That's fine if you go with any of these, but shield upgrade wouldn't fit in time do you'd have to sell old one and buy animated one.

If I only wanted the shield I believe I have enough money without selling anything.

I just got home from working all night.  I will try to figure out my magic items before I pass out.

31,289gp is the correct amount instead of 31,739gp. (DM has corrected my list. Torin's +450gp was not accepted)

Confused

Ok, I fixed the amount.  Did you want to add tax onto that too?  Dodgy  Tongue

New list OK. I guess the two rings go for Toot and Boo. Did you read the fine print about one week attunement before the effect kicks in? Just making sure we are on the same page.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
