[IC] Chapter 1-9: Circle of Hate

Torin looked around the circle before the glow started and already had an idea which was just confirmed by the glow. He starts explaining the others that this must be a controlled gate to the negative energy plane interwoven with some time control magic.

As he gets this far in the explanation the glow intensifies and a crimson beam as wide as the circle itself shoots up, throughthe rift, towards the moon hiding the sun. More than that, four patches of blue light appear in the beam and start to take form of something roughly human in shape and size.

(Everyone please short posts only, as next event shall occur in a very small time, maybe in a round)

Torin collects his morningstar and meanwhile he speeaks: Prepare for the worst!!!

After that he speaks in celestial to his bisons : Guard around the circle!

Note that this is around round 12 so that's why I wrote that all summoned creatures are gone since all have 7rd duration. Correct me if I'm wrong e.g. if one of them were extended

Fine, more undead...  - he is readying his quarterstaff - ... undead apocalypse continues

[Lugar]

Lugar thanks Portho for patching him up and listens to Torin's explanation of the glowing circle. He was about to ask a question about what a "negative energy plane" was when the four blue glowing shapes appear.

Lugar readies his pick and takes a defensive posture (total defense) The shield is strapped to his arm. "Stay with me little fellow." He says to Portho and then stands with Silent Giant.

Ooc - do these blue sphapes remind Lugar of any blue sapphires or other jewels that were found in the crypt?

OOC - I believe it was Maul who healed Lugar, I just didn't tell how much... +16hp He still has a single third level slot left, plus a Restoration which he'll sacrifice as a last resort.
I'll also wait for Toot's reaction before the following happens. If he doesn't post in 24 hours I'll assume he precautiously retreats from the circle, along with Boo.

Maul and Murkatos take refuge in Toot's vicinity, his protective spell still effective for several more minutes.
OOC - who picked up the thrown dagger? Assume Giant did. Just in case it'd matter in the future

The indefinite blobs of color slowly take definite shapes and they appear to be skeletal warriors just like the previous bunch. They turn outward the circle but do not leave it... Yet.

Roll for initiative!
Surprise round is all yours so feel free to add a std action plus a full round.

Surprise Round: as a Free action he will speak- "Who can use the club?!!"
                     Then Portho will begin to orate an epic poem about a battle versus hordes of Undead (bard song)

Round 1:   possibly to be editted based on events before his turn...
    Move action: Portho sticks his hand into his haversack and summons an item to it.. pulling out a greatclub ending in a clenched fist of granite.   the weapon is eeasily twice as tall as Portho and he wobbles unsteadily holding it.

Standard action: he will toss or pass the greatclub to whoever responds.
