My bad Is it possible for someone to simply hide behind one of the "open" gate doors when/if the bandits arrive? Or is the layout of this fort not conducive to that tactic? Also, does this game grant a +1 to attack from high ground? That is why I mentioned Valdi fighting from there, figuring if he were enlarged he'd have a 20' attack radius and covering most of the open fort area. But again, I did forget about closing the doors... Do any of the spell casters have any messenger spells they could use to send for help from civilization?

The gates open outward meaning someone has to pull them shut from the inside, or someone has to be outside.

If the doors open outward then we might have to check the walls to see if there are stairs on the outside... We might be on the wrong side of the fort
