I've been very busy with work the last few days but I am sort of ready.

Everyday but Sunday is nuts for me. Work during the day, class at night. I can fit things into my schedule when I can.

Nexendia, you sure you wanna ride off without the rest of us? I can get you in on the pre-adventure drinks!

Also, safety in numbers. Never split the party.... or is that just in horror games?

You know, I had thought of selling the magic scroll and buying a real horse and hiring some laborers and a guide... If we all did that we might even afford a few guard dogs. But that just doesn't feel right in the spirit of the game.

Yes, well. DM caveat about that: scrolls, like all items, are sold at a much lower price then purchased at. Besides, no self-respecting magic shop will purchase those particular scrolls.

Think of it this way. If you've ever played an MMORPG, you know that you're given starting equipment. This equipment is usually not sellable because it is not very valuable, if at all.

I had thought we would all meet where ever the mount took us and we would join up there.  But if that's not the case then Nexendia will find an excuse to have a drink before she sets off on her journey.

Well...

Valdi smiles broadly at the new introduction, but just silently nods when the elven woman makes an excuse to depart from their company. He seems somewhat used to the dismissive nature of the nobility.

"Vidar brother, it is only a few hours ride. Do you think we need to seek other companions here? or shall we begin our journey?"

So much for that.  I tried to insert a reason to be invited to the table by showing Andra, in front of everyone, that Nexendia had the same scroll that the rest of you had, but instead of being invited they ignored me.  Then in the same post they asked each other if they needed to seek other companions.    I think that's a pretty good snub.
