Sorry, Jack isn't known for being subtle. Really he didn't know who was running toward him. He figured it was a guy. Jack won't be very happy he hit a girl but he doesn't know Gedeon as well as the other girls. If he hit Aurum or Kat he would be a lot more upset about it. And Gedeon is a fighter. In his mind she has likely taken worse hits.

He is known for acting on impulse. Someone was running at him so he reacted. He didn't know what you were going to do. He had to go through with his readied action. Which was anyone who acts aggressively, which someone running toward him looking like the predator in its camouflage effect, he saw as aggressive. If he readied for an attack that would have been different. Sorry.

I'm sorry, my fingers got ahead of my brain and I typed something he shouldn't have said. I goofed. You are transparent so he couldn't have known. When I was typing it I used your name accidentally. Again I'm sorry and for accuracy/ clarity I will edit what he said.
