Danan - The Green Woman. An Ancient spirit of Nature who was charged with overseeing the terraforming of Bastion, Now call Earth, during its Prehistoric era.  The terraforming event is presumably what killed the Dinosaurs.
Alien Races: * - This is an ancient race of lizard people that used to be the dominant intelligent species on Earth.  Apparently they were driven underground during the Terraforming event on Bastion now called Earth, that apparently wiped out the dinosaurs. Carl - Outcaste Sauros. Very helpful and clever lizard man who aided Matthew and did not share his people's opinion of humans. Carl will show up from time to time and pay Matthew rare gems for human items, mostly he seems to be after various books and magazines.
