When she hears the crash and scream from the house, Kaska jumps up from the chair she had been occupying. She grabs her falx, leaving the scabbard behind on the table, and joins the others rushing to see what is happening.

Having barely waddled through the door, encumbered as he was by the gear he would normally have relegated to his mule, Reawyn jolts at the sound of the scream. He shrugs off his heavy pack, not needing to carry food and water for a run around tghe building and races to follow the others.
[OoXC: purchased 3 more waterproof bags, 5 pieces of chalk, 3 flasks (empty), 2 flasks of oil, Lamp (waterproof).. total cost 6.68gp minus 20% = 5.344... he now literally has 1sp and 4 cp to his name, and is Heavy encumberance.. he's hoping for help carrying the munbdane heavy stuff like the crowbar, hemp rope, grappling hook, hammer and spikes.]

You'd need to take on another 44lbs. to get me to light encumbrance. You see why mules are handy? In a pinch simply dropping my backpack drops 33lbs.]

Peering around the corner into the hall, Reawyn sees the destruction wrought by Cin, Kaska, and Kayla on the mechanical creature. He whistles softly at their efficiency.
Then realizing he had heard a woman's scream just before he calls out down the hallway.
"Val? is that you we heard? Are you alright? The automaton is dispatched."

Chrome veneer finishes making his way into the room, just as he watches the robot torn to bits, a gun shot and slashes across its body as it falls apart. Chrome quickly runs into the room and up to the bot, kneeling down to it and inspecting it over. Again, he understood the necessity, but he somehow held hope he'd have been able to do something to end its rampage before the more physical natured individuals got around to it. Still, what's done was now done, and as this was a bot he was unfamiliar with -- to mourn over it would be silly. Instead, he pulled out a book and began looking over the bot to try and cross reference his knowledge, to get a better idea of what it was and what sort of machinations it might have held within its orders.
Konwledge(Engineering) to know about the robot : 1d20+9 28
He would know whatever interesting things the GM feels might be helpful.
