RE: Missing Caravan - GM Marvel - 12-05-2015 [OoC: OMG I typed up an entire post and then my computer lost everything I wrote. I am not going to go back and fill in all the rolls again. I will just describe what happens. Also, Nacesh should remember that he is the only one that can understand the Kobolds so he needs to translate.] So, Jonath runs out and boinks the Kobold between the eyes. His eyes cross and he falls to the ground. Then Tomeal runs out to be a target and fires off his crossbow. Unfortunately he misses. Then Mardak runs to [??]... The Sorcerer moves and then fires a crossbow at the Kobold but he ducks the attack. [OoC: Mardak still needs to pick a place on the map because Jonath picked C8 and he beats you in initiative. Just a friendly reminder that if the Kobold sound the alarm it's likely that you will have failed your mission. So with that said, Mardak might want to choose a spot where he can block the Kobold before he runs into the cave. It takes 40' of movement for Mardak to get to B8. Mardak still has 20' of movement left from his double move. So choose wisely, Mardak.] [OoC: Waiting on Mardak to decide where he is running to before doing the Kobold's actions.] Initiatives: 21 Jonath [C8] 18 Tomeal [D8] 14 Mardak [Can't move to C8 cuz Jonath beat you to it.] 11 Nacesh [D6] 11 Kobold 09 Betimi 08 Selina RE: Missing Caravan - Mardak Trannyth - 12-05-2015 (OOC: Is this a surprise round? And I thought there was a Kobold in B-8, oh wait it's dead now unless jonath shot the kobold in A-6. Mardak will move to in behind the Kobold at A-6 (or b-8) so it would have to go by Mardak, provoking an AoO. ) Attack 1d20+2 = 11 Damage 1d8+1 = 4 (It's all if Mardak hits with an AoO, 11 should hit right? No dex if surprsied (Another EDIT: Didn't use a Hexblades Curse. So a Swift or Free action which still can be used. Kobold Saves vs DC 13 or be cursed. I think -2 to saves, ac, to hit, skills, and whatever else.) RE: Missing Caravan - GM Marvel - 12-05-2015 [OoC: No it's not a surprise round. The Kobolds were alerted to you. But they are considered flatfooted until their turn. But your AoO would happen on their turn so he will have his full armor class. Sorry.] Mardak moves to put himself in the best position [AA7*] in the middle of the tunnel. [Placing himself on line 6 would allow the Kobold to do a withdraw action and run down to Line 8 and then right past him.] The kobold knows he can't run by him without the chance of getting hit so he thrusts his spear at Mardak first in the hopes of knocking out or killing him but missed. [Rolled an 11 on my phone but then lost the post (again) when trying to use Tapatalk App. ] The Kobold then has no choice but to make a run for it so he charges past Mardak. The Hexblade swings for the critter but the little guy dodges his blade and runs into the cave. 21 Jonath [C8] 18 Tomeal [D8] 14 Mardak [Line 7 behind Kobold at A6. I don't have a letter there yet so Im calling it AA7]* 11 Nacesh [D6] 11 Kobold [B8] [Unconscious at -1] 11 Kobold [Ran 30' so he is 15' past the map.] 09 Betimi 08 Selina [OoC: It is now Betimi and Selina's turns. Then Jonath, Tomeal, Mardak and Nacesh's turns] [FYI: Kobolds have darkvision so it's dark in the cave. So unless someone produces some light or has a light spell (*cough* Selina), only the people with Darkvision, who I think is only Jonath and Betimi, can see. The people with Darkvison see that the Kobold ran over a small bridge and is just outside [5'] of some kind of Portcullis. You can surmise that he will likely make his 5' step and then close the Portcullis, locking you all outside. ] RE: Missing Caravan - Mardak Trannyth - 12-05-2015 (OOC: Just wondering if Mardak's curse went off at all.) RE: Missing Caravan - GM Marvel - 12-05-2015 [OoC: I didn't see your edit because I was posting when you posted it. ] Mardak utters a curse at the Kobold but (of course ) it shrugs off the effect. [Sorry] RE: Missing Caravan - Mardak Trannyth - 12-05-2015 And once again, Mardak stands there piping mad as his curse was non-effectual. His plague ridden eyes begin to turn back to normal just when he wipes the smoking black ichor from his mouth. He spits in frustration. "Mark mah words ya varmint, I will put a plague upon your house!!" RE: Missing Caravan - Selina Parcellus - 12-06-2015 ((How far to the edge of the map is it? I might have Selina try for a sling shot.)) RE: Missing Caravan - GM Marvel - 12-06-2015 [OoC: it's around 15' off the edge of the map. But it's dark in the cave so you need darkvision to see him. Shooting anything at him without darkvision or some kind of light would require you to shoot blind.] Sent from my SM-G925W8 using Tapatalk RE: Missing Caravan - Betimi - 12-07-2015 Betimi moves quickly around the bushes to B7, then hurls the crystalline shard at the kobold in the cave, missing wildly in her haste. Attack: [1d20+3] = 3+3 = 6 / Damage: [1d6] = 6 + Acid damage [1d6] = 3 [OoC I have Precise shot so people in melee were safe] RE: Missing Caravan - GM Marvel - 12-07-2015 [OoC: And in case I wasn't clear enough, some kind of light would be very helpful right now!] Sent from my SM-G925W8 using Tapatalk |
