Side by side with Arius, Nightingale gives him a quick glance to make sure he's holding up ok before focusing on the giant rodent in front of her, lashing out with her baton and smashing it's skull then darting forward and driving her knee into another one with a sickening crack.

Kriv blasts a giant rat with a firebolt, cooking it quite thoroughly.
Arius cracks a giant rat with his whip, splitting the thing open and spraying it guts across the stones.
Athos sends a bolt of electricity at Giant rat that rushes up, but misses
Nightingale cracks the Giant Rat that rushed up, killing it instantly.
Mivia holds her attack as all the smaller rats are dead, increasing her ability to react next round.
As the last Giant Rat falls, a roar echoes in the cavernous depths. To call what rumbles from the shadows another Giant Rat would be a gross understatement. The monstrous creature in the shape of rat that rushes up to face the group could only be referred to as a Rat king, or Queen, or maybe even DIRE Rat, though no boney protrusions can be seen. The beast is every bit as large as a horse.
