RE: Missing Caravan - GM Marvel - 10-26-2015 The guard says to Jonath, "Can you tie a rope around part of him and then we can try to drag Mardak out of the hole?" RE: Missing Caravan - Selina Parcellus - 10-26-2015 "We would have to reach him first. There is no other way to get the rope around him without some sort of physical contact." RE: Missing Caravan - GM Marvel - 10-26-2015 "This is why I asked the Gnome. He should be able to reach Mardak and tie the rope around a body part." Sent from my SM-G925W8 using Tapatalk RE: Missing Caravan - GM Marvel - 10-26-2015 (10-24-2015, 11:21 AM)GM Marvel Wrote: The large crack in the rock is too deep and black for his low light vision to see into so he [Jonath] easily slips into the crack that would be too small for a regular person to get into without squeezing through. [OoC: Remember I said Jonath can easily slip into the crack and even regular humans could get in if they squeezed. Squeezing means they can move through the area but must travel at only half speed.] RE: Missing Caravan - Selina Parcellus - 10-26-2015 ((Yeah, must've missed that part. Sorry.)) RE: Missing Caravan - Jonath - 10-26-2015 "Yes, if someone can provide me with some rope, I can try to secure it to him so we can haul him out. If that still proves difficult, then perhaps we can employ Nacesh's ability to reduce his size, which should make it easier to haul him out," Jonath replies, starting to look for the best ways to securely attach a rope to the man's inert form given the cramped and inaccessible position of his body. RE: Missing Caravan - Selina Parcellus - 10-26-2015 Selina is quick to offer her rope for use, passing it to Jonath. "Please take care not to tie it to his neck, sir, much as we may wish to." She fails to hide a grin. "Oh, and perhaps you can guide him to us as we pull to avoid spinal injury." RE: Missing Caravan - Jonath - 10-27-2015 Jonath chuckles softly at Selena's first warning as he grabs her rope. He proceeds to secure the rope to Mardak's body in whatever ways he can, using the man's belt, armor straps, and other such places as he can to make it as safe as possible to haul him out without causing further injury. When he has attached it as well as he can, he calls up. "I am ready. Try to pull slowly and smoothly, I will guide and support him as best I can." RE: Missing Caravan - GM Marvel - 10-28-2015 The guard and Selina both gently (or maybe not so gently)begin to pull Mardak from where he is wedged. When his body begins to move, Jonath's Darkvision picks up an odd, thin, two-foot long, vertical opening in the stone behind where Mardak's body was stuck. Mardak's body eventually slides out of the opening between the stones. He's covered in blood and taking weak shallow breaths. RE: Missing Caravan - Selina Parcellus - 10-28-2015 "Well, he is alive. That is saying something for his durability, as well as his lack of common sense. Just to patch him up will likely take an extra day, even if I were to heal him." Selina sighs and shakes her head. |
