The skulk still seems suspicious but is apparently satisfied. The other skulk brings them back to the lege where the rest of the group waits. There they are able to explain to them the situation.

"They want us to murder some gremlins who took their "stuff"..." Chrome begins as he sees the others though only speaks once he's not within (at least a Human's) earshot of the skulks. "Offer some sort of treasure in reward. Honestly, sounds like they came across another group from our town down here. If we keep things favorable, we might get more information, that seems more important here than acting as some sort of mercenary; killing for money."

"It might be wise to consider just what these creatures think is a gremlin. Their gremlins may actually be more friendly."

The skulks point the group to the Northeast up another ledge to a different section of caves.

Addressing the party she says, "Well shall we get moving?"

Chrome nods, and follows along with the others, himself near the rear. He hopes there's some means to communicate with the gremlins... though it sounds like everyone that knows about them only speaks ill of them. As much as he wants to believe that each individual of a race makes its own decisions, there's clearly some inclination of them as a whole that drives them to act the way they do. While he will strive for a dialogue, he will support his companions should the need arise even if it harms the gremlins. Still, he doesn't feel completely right about how it seems their group is going there to seek the fight themselves... Then again, i suppose the gremlins sought the fight by taking from the skulks?
