RE: Chapter 1: Hollows Last Hope - Oriana Bronzeguard - 12-10-2023

Oriana didn't know what to think of Harley's admission. Vampires were stories the elders told them around the campfire, dark, ruthless beings that stalked their prey in large cities in the wee hours of the night.

Learning they were real, and she was sitting at the table with one (or half one) was really a bit too much for her to process, so she decided not to. She filed away to not try and heal the lady and the rest would fall out in time.

It did knock Oriana from her funk though, driving thoughts of the wizard away for the moment. She sat up as Lucien unfurled the map and took to studying it to find the best way to make their trek through this dangerous wood.

RE: Chapter 1: Hollows Last Hope - Brilliant Breeze - 12-11-2023

Breezy leans over on his tippy toes and points out on the map where the Hag's Hollow on the map. "That is where the Hag's Hollow is. Ironbloom should be found there. Good news it is kinda on the way to most things, cause it is deep in the forest. Bad news is it is deep in the forest, on the far side of the lake. "  the Leshy says trying to be helpful. It moves back to sitting in its chair, feeling like it has helped.

RE: Chapter 1: Hollows Last Hope - Dunndero - 12-11-2023

Dunndero studies the map briefly, looks over his shoulder at Jak and waves her over and asks, "You and my ma used to adventure in the Dark Wood, where would you suggest would be best to begin our search fir the dwarf an the monestary ruins?"

RE: Chapter 1: Hollows Last Hope - Lucian - 12-11-2023

Lucian jotted down the points Breezy showed him in a neat legible hand. He then points to the location on the map. "The Monastery ruins show up here and Mistress Genre confirmed that location. But having another set of eyes confirm it is always welcome."  Corroborating several perspectives was always a good idea.

RE: Chapter 1: Hollows Last Hope - Harley the Barbarian - 12-11-2023

Harley continued to sip at her drink. Logistics and planning was never her strongest suits, especially when you were usually running from town to town to avoid the people who thought her kind abominations and sought to roast her over the coals. Then remembering Satoru's question, she met the shorter man's gaze and said, bandages or a good old blast of necromantic energy will pep me right up. Our kind thrives off negative energy. It if harms humans, it'll just tickle me in all the right places. Offering a somewhat manicial smile, she turned her eyes to her diminutive friend and asked, So how are things with your aunt anyway?

RE: Chapter 1: Hollows Last Hope - Toryn Togglebit - 12-11-2023

Aunt Petunia is doing quite well thanks for asking. Toryn replied as he pored over the map. In fact she's so hearty for her age that we almost suspected she was a vampire as well. Though the way she can demolish a triple garlic casserole casts some serious doubt on that. Must be good genes.

Breezy looks at the map, and the three marked locations.  "Question is where do you want to go first?"

RE: Chapter 1: Hollows Last Hope - Larz Oathtaker - 12-12-2023

Leaning forward Larz points first at the logging camps, The way I see it, the logging camp and this mysterious huge wolf that keeps draggin folks off are the closest. If we start there we may just find out that the Huge wolf and the ware wolfs, may be one and the same. Then we can check out the forest for them there mushrooms. That would leave only the monastery left. What say you Lusian? The dwarf leans back slowly drinking his ale before speaking up again. If we're gona do this, I think it might be a good idea to see what we can get fer that magic dog, So we can see about maybe buyin some silver arrow heads and crossbow tips. If what they say is true there be ware wolfs in them woods.

RE: Chapter 1: Hollows Last Hope - Dunndero - 12-12-2023

"Is any one else able to use the longsword proficiently, I personally prefer the versatility of axes, but will carry and use the longsword if necessary !, suggests Dunndero

RE: Chapter 1: Hollows Last Hope - Lucian - 12-12-2023

Lucian nods to Larz. "Sounds as good a plan as any and it's the most logical approach to be honest.  Finish the smaller tasks on the edges of the forest, get paid, put it back into gear that can more adequately handle the Lycanthropes."  He nods again, "I like it."

He looks over at Dunndero when he mentions the silver sword, "Honestly, I figured you would be the one to use it big guy.  It'll probably do the most damage in your hands."  He looks around the table to see if anyone objects, "Unless someone else here is better with a sword?"
