kk gotta pick a feat then..\

taking Order of the Scribe from Tash'as as my arcane tradition.. for background I went with guild artisan (guild merchant variant) and got the tool prof Navigator's tools.. assuming you will allow that to be wildspace navigator's tools?

Gunner
You have a quick hand and keen eye when employing firearms, granting you the following benefits:

Increase your Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
You gain proficiency with firearms (see “Firearms” in the Dungeon Master’s Guide).
You ignore the loading property of firearms. (Which he already gets as a racial ability)
Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesn’t impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls.

Yeah, that works. Will have to look at Order of the Scribe as I haven't read Tasha's yet.  does it let you do anything particularly cool?

kool things.. swapping damage types and casting ritual magic at normal speed, not adding 10 minutes.. going to pick up Find familiar and Magic Missile as my ne 1st level spells... when combined that means I can make my Ice Knife spell do Force damage ") or my magic missile do cold.. and as i get more spells in my vook, it will let me tweak damage types even more

Thanks to extensive practice with the palm pistols, pistols, and pepperboxes, you gain the following benefits:

- You ignore the loading property of palm pistols, pistols, and pepperboxes with which you are proficient. (already get this from racial traits)
- Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesn’t impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls.
- When you use the Attack action and attack with a one-handed weapon, you can use a bonus action to attack with a hand palm pistol, pistol, or pepperbox you are holding
 
character sheet has been fixed,( dex set back to 14
