Until that opportunity for him to meet like minded souls to teem up with Dunndero has been working at the inn as a server/ bouncer and helping out around town where he can.
Oriana grew up on the outskirts of civilisation, born into a semi-secret society tasked with safeguarding the world from horrors that had been locked away in ages past. Her ancestors pledged their lives and the lives of their future families to this charge.

She is part of the Bronze Guard, a network set up to monitor and secure numerous threats, ensuring they remain locked safely away. The guard was set up and is overseen by Galadmorn’ontor, the Bright Warden, a bronze dragon who has taken it upon himself to not just eliminate those who threaten the realms, but to lock them away, giving them an opportunity to repent and atone for their actions, should they choose. Until then however, they need to be kept isolated from the world.

Oriana and her extended family live in the foothills of the Five Kings Mountains, north of Darkmoon Forest, guarding an extra planar portal. Beyond this portal is the prison of Jhars’urratar, a green dragon also known as Jade Slayer.

At 18, Oriana is young and impulsive but being groomed to lead this particular sect of the Bronze Guard when her uncle steps down, but not planned for many years yet. So when the guard sensed a ward that helped to secure the prison portal itself seemed to be disrupted by an unknown source, Oriana was sent to lead a group of the guard to investigate the disturbance.

As the party approached the ward they detected signs of void energy seeping into the land, the trees and plants withering from its presence. They ran into another group led by a long haired blonde wizard wearing brown robes and having an ornate staff with a large eye at the top held there by a three pronged claw. As the guard rushed to intercept the unknown party an explosion rocked Oriana’s world. The ward broke and the area was first devastated with a magical shockwave before the young woman found herself under water. The ward was keyed to the plane of water she realised as she fought to hold her breath before seeing a strange shimmering light from her chest before she blacked out. Coming to, exhausted, drenched, but alive laying on the ground she heard the wizard say “this isn't the one” before the unknown group left, Oriana was helpless to do anything but watch.

She summoned her strength eventually and got to her feet, quickly realising no one else she came here with was moving. They had all perished, some from the initial blast, others from drowning in the water judging from the various wounds. She was hurt, tired, wet to her bones and now alone. Sitting there in solitude she could now feel something else, something was different about her. She could feel a connection inside of her, a gate to somewhere else. As she concentrated on it, she could feel each drop of water soaked into her clothes and hair. Pulling on them, she sucked all the water free from her outside, drying herself and coalescing it into a small globule of water that swirled and floated just above her hand. Pulling again, she made the water evaporate right in front of her until it was completely gone. She was changed, and was unsure of the long term effects of this change, but she knew she could use this to hunt down the man responsible for the slaughter of her friends and family.

She returned to her home, informed them of what happened and where so the bodies could be retrieved and grieved over. Once the funeral proceedings were finished, Oriana did not take no for an answer when informing her uncle and the other elders of the guard that she was leaving to hunt down that wizard. Her first port of call, the town of Falcon’s Hollow, on the other side of Darkmoon forest.
