Sounds good.
Posted at the same time Bazz did, so edited my post to include a response from Mama Glamgold.
I also don't remember if I explicitly stated it before, but all of you start with an Inspiration point that can be spent after any d20 roll to give you advantage on that roll (rolling another d20 and taking the higher of the two rolls before adding bonuses). Your inspiration point only reset when directed by the DM.
I addedthe inspiration point to my character sheet. thanks!
Sorry, stepped on Melville's post a bit. Note that Melville would know the Mate isn't the one likely to be negotiating pay and such, that would be the captain. Are you sure you want to use your Mind reading here?

He would not in that case. I assumed it would be the mate or quartermaster because crew is often beneath the captains purview. Often it is beneath the mate.
Fyi someone just posted a fantastic squidship map on FB sages of Spelljammer 4 hours ago
[OoC: Fun trivia fact; the Japanese word for penguin translates as business goose.]
Happy holidays everybody. Go and give yourselves 100 xp as a gift from me to you.
So use starting at 2nd level means we should all have 400XP now. Thanks
I have a question. Is Rupert yelling all the time? Because every time I read his post I feel like he's yelling (or talking very loudly). I know some people, including myself, will Bold, Italics or Colour to emphasize speech from other parts of the post. But when people use Capitals it usually means they're yelling. That might become confusing if he means to whisper but all of his speech is capitalized. Perhaps maybe using a Bold for regular speech or an Italics if he's whispering. Anywhoo... it's just an observation.
