There used to be a village down that road, but nobody remembers anything about it.  People stopped going there generations ago.

Alynorae looks at the others and when they are alone she whispers, "That's odd.  There's a village down the road that no one goes to any more.  So when people are travelling west they just go around the town?  Seems unlikely unless the place cursed.  This is something I feel we should both avoid and investigate.  As an adventurer my curiosity usually wins.  If we plan to leave we should rest early."
