Jessica P (Spectrum) & Roslyn's (Aurum) Dorm Room
#1
Brick
Jessica suddenly turns to look at Roslyn with Shimmering Black eyes.  Knowing that in this situation Aurum is more dangerous than Johnny, she points and blasts her in the shoulder.

[OoC: Aurum takes 10pts of damage! She has around 12 health left.]

"What's wrong, Roslyn," Jess asks, while her jet black eyes glitter.  "Miss perfect have an ouchy?"

"Ah!" Aurum grabs her shoulder, shocked as the light blast hits her. For a moment, she almost can't think, but options flash into her mind. Running, definitely possible, though the long hallway would present a problem, and leave Johnny behind. There isn't really anything nearby that she could use as a weapon. She isn't good enough at the Night-Night blast to be sure she could put Jessica to sleep. All she can really rely on, at the moment, were her hands and feet. That isn't a great option, but it could stall until someone else shows up.

Plus, she is really hungry, and Jessica is looking pretty tasty right now.

With an aggressive growl, Aurum launches herself at Jessica, trying to knock Jessica out.

Slugfest (Fighting - Typical): 1d100=97 - Yellow Result

((OOC: Assuming that the extra CPs to build were sorta stand-ins for whatever we may have had, Karma-wise, and that our Karma is back to the sum of our mental abilities.

"What the FRACK are you doing, Jessica" Johnny yells!  Everything was moving so fast he could hardly keep up.  He had no idea why their friend was suddenly attacking them but judging from her eyes she was under some kind of influence.  It wasn't hard to surmise why Jess attacked Roslyn and not him.  What was he going to do, beat her with her Ipod.  If only he wasn't so useless!  If only he had some kind of weapon to protect his girlfriend.  Suddenly, Johnny feels something in his hand.  Glancing down he sees that he's holding a Stun Pistol.  "Whaaa?"  Without thinking he points the gun and fires at Jessica, blasting her practically between the eyes!!

Aurum leaps at Jessica and punches her in the face.  The blow catches Spectrum off guard and sends her flying at/into... [Rosyln chooses in what direction she wants to slam Jessica.  Some options include the bed for no additonal damage; the wall for 6 more pts of damage; or some other direction.]

Then Johnny miraculously summons a stun gun to his hands and reacting on instinct, to protect his girlfriend, he shoots Jessica between the eyes [Bullseye!].  The flash from the gun causes her to blink a bit but otherwise seems uneffected.

[Wow everyone is getting great rolls.  The Plothook dice roller always seemed to roll crappy!]

Recovering from the slam and the shot in the face, Jessica stands up and rubs her chin saying, "Nice punch, Roz.  But you won't catch me off guard like that again!"  With a smirk, an aura of light surrounds Spectrum and you know this to be her Energy Sheath.  It's going to be much harder to hurt her now!

[Attempted 2 actions but failed.  So does 1 action at -3cs.  Action: turning on Energy Sheath (requires no rolls)]

[Aurum's and Johnny's turn... FYI: Johnny's stun gun is at Ex intensity so he can still effect Jessica.]

"I don't know what's made ya go barmy but that's na going to stop me from stunning yer arse inta next week," Johnny yells, even though his first attempt failed.  He fires his stun gun again and shoots her in the face AGAIN!

(Gonna go slamming her into the wall, cause it's funny)

Being in close quarters, slugging it out with someone who suddenly had armor is not what Aurum considers a good idea. But there she is, and she doesn't particularly have much choice, since retreating would leave her vulnerable. So, she keeps at it, hoping that there's another telepath with head-shot to hear her cries for help.

[OoC: Aurum can up her hit point to what they are now.  The 22 was before the move and now you have 28 hit points.]

Roslyn had knocked Jessica into the wall so she was hurting pretty good.  But with her energy sheath up Jessica knew it was unlikely either of them could harm her.

Aurum jumps at Jessica and lands a solid punch but her fist just bounces off the field of solid light that surrounds her body.  Johnny shoots her in the face again causing Jessica to start to curse but before she can finish her eyes become unfocused, her energy sheath flickers and fails, and then she drops to the ground.

[OoC: Dice roller finally fails and Jessica is STUNNED!]

Johnny immediately moves in front of Roslyn to look at her wounds.  He attempts an untrained First aid or Medicine check [Whichever works] and [If it works] it seems to succeed. [Green Result]

"Are you alright," he says while quickly bandaging Roslyn's shoulder.  "Do ya have any clue what got inta her?"

She hisses slightly in pain as Johnny inspects her shoulder, shaking her head. "No, but remember that time she was acting weird and threatened you, the morning after I got psychic feedback from her? Maybe it's that again. I don't think I'm inclined to try, right now. We should get her confined, go help Jack, and... find someone on staff. I think we're under attack... Is there any kind of security system up here? Lockdowns? If there is, you could electronically lock her in here while we find someone to help Jessica."

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
