The little girl continues to watch the clockwork bird tweet and flap its wings with great delight. She whispers, "I hope the little man comes back to play..."
"Sure," Nacesh says, lifting his light crossbow

She hisses, "Spiders!" When she does all three suddenly stop. Each of their six black smaller eyes and two larger eyes reflect the torchlight while seemingly watching what you do next...
"Not good," Nacesh says and aims at one of the spiders.
Initiative [1d20+3] = 8+3 = 11
"May alert their master" he adds and shoots.
Light crossbow point blank AC [1d20+4] = 15+4 = 19 damage [1d8+1] = 1+1 = 2
"Or mistress" he adds again, with an undecipherable expression on his face after the marginal hit (ooc - assume it's a hit at least...)
(OOC - since we are essentially guarding the girl and the unconscious I guess his crossbow was loaded. I may have even mentioned it though can't find the post. So depending on this it's either load + fire or fire + reload.)
(OOC2 - since Ohma took Betimi's spear the dialogue fragment above may be obsolete but in spite of this, Nacesh is usually a rear ranks person so he'll go with the crossbow unless approached in melee)
(OOC3 - I can't recall if you answered how many of his level 0 slots are unused; I recall having used at least 2 of 5).
