Just some ideas that flooded my brainpan when you brought up the Bard idea.  Figured I would share them with you.

Thank you for the ideas.  They all sound very interesting.  I'm not sure if the first one would be very party-friendly.  I've always tried to make characters that are team players.  Not characters that could screw up the game or cause major issues for the other characters.

@GM Marvel - That's a perfectly fine character concept. Just in this type of world, people like that are usually named John Constantine...lol

I think I shall take the non-magical role in the group.. with either a brawler or a slayer(sniper archetype). Basically the fighter role. Which do you guys think meshes best with your character concepts? I'm still torn. One up close and personal, or one that strikes from a distance.

16, 16, 10, 10, 10, 10

OR


18, 14, 14, 12, 8, 8 : you start with a drawback of my choice and no cash from your first level.

Same choice, but here are your options-,
13, 13, 12, 12, 12, 8 - plus one additional bonus feat of your choice

OR
 16, 12, 11, 11, 10, 7
plus one additional bonus feat of your choice
@DM Vitkyng-

Same but different as above

 16, 14, 12, 12, 8, 8 plus one additional Trait of your choice 
OR
17, 16, 10, 10, 7, 7 plus one additional Trait of your choice.
