Listen: [1d20+5] = 10+5 = 15
[[I accidentally rolled her regular mod for Listen, so -10 that's a 5, which is sufficient to beat the DC0 of "people talking" or the DC (-10) of "a battle."]]
[OoC: Well, being turned into a pelt was a bit of hyperbole. It reminded me of an old Shadowrun video game. When you got a mission to hunt hellhound for their pelts, as soon as you kill a hellhound they instantly turn into stretched out pelts. It seems the only way to kill something that doesn't have a specific vulnerability is through starvation, thirst, or suffocation. So hanging (or just tying a rope around its neck), burying or drowning them seems like the best bet.
P.S. I usually allow Coup de Grace to kill regenerating creatures. Especially if it's from an attack they target is vulnerable to.]
[OoC: I assume they will be whispering (DC15) not talking (DC:0). ]
But whatever Kubo's roll, Tomeal decides to wake Selina. He knows it won't disrupt her praying for spells so there's no reason for her to remain sleeping when there's a possibility of her being surprised. She can make up the few minutes she misses to get the full 8 hours for healing purposes. Unlike arcane casters, she wouldn't need to add an extra hour onto her sleep for being interrupted to benefit from restful sleep.
