[IC] A Stolen Land
Using the horses to assist, you manage to drag the massive amounts of boar meat back to the Trading Post. Kesten has apparently set a watch on the walls, which alerts him to the arrival of 5 individuals, horses, and 4 massive boar carcasses. Kesten opens the gate to reveal Oleg, in a fair amount of disbelief, Svetlana, quite happy to see you all safe, and two others. One of the two new faces is a balding, middle-aged man sporting the holy symbol of Erastil. The other...((Introduce yourself, new player. Show us what you've got.))

The other one is a young human man with bald head and with big muscles. He looks like a light armored warrior, he wears a studded leather and carries a round heavy wooden shield. He also has a morningstar and few strange exotic light weapons, and three javelins. He is not a good-looking but tall, big, very strong and dexterous young guy.

"We bring pork for the winter stores Oleg, if you wish to purchase it from us!  Vidar will stay and get the ham smoked and salted. Happs was indeed a valuable  hunter with his bow, though I would hope next time we track the boars rather than them track us."

"I see you have more guests."

Tushou waits in silence and suspiciously watching the arriving team.

OOC - Can someone summarize the group's appearance?

An attractive female elf rides into the trading post with a small winged dinosaur perched on her shoulder.  She has red hair, green eyes and a slim but shapely build.  The tiny dino squawks toward the newcomer to warn his master of possible stranger-danger.  She lightly clicks her tongue to signal him to settle down to which he responds by circling around behind her long hair and glowering out, with sharp beady eyes, at the unknown person.

"Good day," she states cordially. "I'm Nexendia and this little guy is Scarf.  Welcome to the Trading Post."  She then pauses to allow the others to introduce themselves however they wished.

Andra rides on the opposite side of the boar-bearing menfolk from Nexendia. She is a tall young woman, with black hair and steel eyes, her clothing consisting of dark colors, but expensive fabrics. She wears studded leather armor, and has, at the very least, a short sword and a bow, if not more weapons hidden upon her. Bringing her horse to a stop, she swings expertly down from the saddle. Her movements match her eyes. Quick, efficient, but graceful. She briefly looks the new people over, then looks at the men. "You've got the meat. I'll take the horses." As she reaches to take the reins of another horse, she nods curtly.

"Andra."

It is with a look of profound relief that Valdi allows Andra to take the reins of his horse as he slides clumsily down off of the mount.  He does not seem inordinately clumsy for a big man, but hie obviously has no skill with horses.

"You have my gratitude lass. Glad to be away from this ill-tempered beast"

A plain looking man, Valdi is still quite the imposing figure, standing well over 6 feet tall, with long red hair tied back in a loose tail beneath his plain iron helm. Several days unshaven growth has left his chin covered in coarse red stubble.  He is armoured in a long coat of thickly quilted fabric sewn with metal plates. Perhaps the most noticeable thing, though, is the sheer volume and array of weapons strapped to his large fram, starting with a massive pole-axe slung to his back, a longbow, a crossbow, a brace of axes over his shoulders, and a hammer with a dark iron head hanging from his belt. There almost certainly are some other sharp implements tucked away as well, you are certain of it.

After he unties the heavy burden of boar that had been being dragged behind the horse he removes his gauntlets, then doffs his armoured coat,  and with only a cursory nod at the newcomers, sets to work butchering the boars before they can spoil in the heat. W@hen he takes off his coat a brown leather pouch can be seen dangling around his neck, embroidered with some sort of intricate symbol, hard to make out as it swings on it's cord as he works.

"Come brother, we have much work to do.    Lady Nexendia, where do you wish us to set the portions that will need salting?"

Happs looks at Valdi and rolls his eyes at the crack about him not spotting boars.  There were a few things he could have said in response, but he wisely elects to hold his tongue as he still felt he was on shaky ground with the group of them.  As Valdi speaks, Vidar only nods in response.  Laden down, as he is, with massive amounts of boar carcass, Vidar only observes the actions of the new people.  Vidar was not a talker, he was the man in the back of the room crossing his arms and looking like he would rip yours off if you said something incorrect.  Tall and imposing, Vidar is a beast to behold.  Wavy long red hair hangs loosely down his dirty tanned face, a light beard covers his square jaw.  He has a warrior's swagger and one look from his bright green eyes can make even the bravest of men cower.  Vidar wears dull scale armor, a heavy round shield with a painted red dragon, and wields an axe in battle.  A close look at his large hands reveals vicious claws at his fingertips.

Oleg looks at the boars and marvels at how the five of you were able to drag such big carcasses back.  He can only nod at Valdi's offer, while Svetlana sighs and shakes her head.  She gently pats her husband's arm lovingly and says "Thank you so much for providing such a bounty to us.  Once again, it seems we are in your debt.  We will gladly pay for the meat and the services of Mr. Vidar..."

"Just Vidar."

"Yes, right.  We can easily sell this as preserved food to passing travelers, caravans, anything really, and still have plenty to spare to make up plenty of rations for ourselves."

((The boar meat will provide a quick infusion of trade goods to the Levetons.))

He answers shortly. Tushou - he nods first to her and once again to the others. They don't look like a simple boar hunters. He is waiting what will happen and looks around in the Trading Post.

A young gorgeous human rides also with the others, he has got yellow eyes and hair with some golden tresses. His visage is sometimes a little bit cloudy as if he is looking into somewhere else.

It takes some seconds for him to recognize the newcomers and nods to them:
- Eran.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
