Concerning Valdi's observation about hiding near the front gate in order to close it on the bandits, which I totally fughataboutit. My bad  Is it possible for someone to simply hide behind one of the "open" gate doors when/if the bandits arrive?  Or is the layout of this fort not conducive to that tactic?  

Also, does this game grant a +1 to attack from high ground?  That is why I mentioned Valdi fighting from there, figuring if he were enlarged he'd have a 20' attack radius and covering most of the open fort area.  But again, I did forget about closing the doors...

Do any of the spell casters have any messenger spells they could use to send for help from civilization?

Me standing enlarged in the wagon may be our best option. The gates open outward meaning someone has to pull them shut from the inside, or someone has to be outside.
