OOC - Rancor Pit (OoC Chat)
Meanwhile in an online Discord based solo game, I just went back and forth with 7 horrible rolls trying to persuade a jedi knight to let me spare a disillusioned sith apprentice's life, badly quoted Qui-Gon once and immediately rolled a 31.

Almost sounds like my rolls.  When I'm desperately in need of high rolls, I roll low but when I need a perception check to notice some inconsequential thing I'll roll a 20.

I had 3 crits in one combat
Survived fighting a sith alchemical experiment and a sith apprentice without killing them or dying myself
Mentioned it to the Jedi Knight supervising me
Long debate about whether or not to turn him in or leave him with a Je'daii I met to give him a chance to redeem himself
Jedi Knight was adamant we turn him in
Rolled 7 or 8 times over the course of that debate and never got higher than a 21 despite having a +12 to persuade and spending two force points
Quote Qui-Gon badly, something about trusting the force to guide us in the right path
Immediately roll a 31.

Finally the group has time to breathe (once you move away from the Rock (if you don't move you will likely all die when the turbolasers power up)).

So I am finally giving the experience you have earned since the game started.

Created a Houserules thread for things we have generally agreed on.. such as GM Mrvels suggestion that armour profiency also grants Armored Defense talent with that armor type, and how I allow diagonal movement as per D&D 3.5 rules. If there are any oher houserules that we come up with in-game, we will add them.

Due to my error, I didn't pick up a talent for 3rd level Scoundrel because I accidently picked it for 2nd level scoundrel instead of a feat.  So I picked up the feat I missed for 2nd Level Scoundrel which will be, Silver Tongue.

Silver Tongue:  You can Intimidate or Change Attitude as a Standard Action instead of a Full Round Action.

Having to make a Full Round Action to use his Interrogator Talent was annoying because Zero had to be adjacent to the target to use it.  So he'd have to move up to the target and then wait until next turn to use Interrogator to Change their Attitude.  Now he can move up to the target and use Interrogator as a Standard Action, all in one round.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
