Despite trying to mind his own business, Malcolm reacts quickly to the sudden explosion of activity that erupts around him...

Without even thinking about it Malcolm quickly vacates his chair and moves for the wall. Also without thinking about it one of his invisible tendrils reaches out to hover protectively above the smaller boy's head.

[Remember Malcom thinks he sees through his tendrils, doesn't realize yet that his clairvoyance does not rely on his tendrils.]

He doesn't actually do anything with the tendril unless something hard and heavy like a chair is about to hit the kid, in which case he will try and deflect it.

The small teen desperately tries to scamper away from the larger teen but slips on some mashed potatoes and falls on his face.  Fights break out all around you.  No one attacks you directly though you do get hit with a few globs of potatoes and peas.

Guards react by rushing into the fray to put down the food fight.  Initially there's 4 guards who grab a couple of the kids while yelling for everyone to break it up and sit down before force will have to be used!

Happening at almost the same time as the orders from the Guards, the large teen leaps at the younger teen but the young teen rolls out of the way of his attack.

Malcolm will use his invisible tendril to ttempt to trip the larger boy, hoping to time it just as he lands, so it looks like he slipped in the mess on the floor. His timing is off and the tendril misses catching the bigger boys foot.

Malcolm gets bumped into by another teen who was trying to avoid a chair, which causes his concentration to falter causing the psychic tendril to completely miss the larger teen.  Then Malcolm notices the strange look of bewilderment on the young teens face.

"What's going on..." he asks while seemingly coming to the realization that he was in the middle of a brawl.  "Why am I covered with food?"  Noticing the larger teen menacing him he yells over the din of chaos raging around him, "Hey, what gives?"

The guards begin getting more physical with the teens.  Some are grappled while other are roughly pulled from the fight and ordered to stand by the wall.  They order Malcolm to get back and when/if he does what they tell him, he bumps into his guide who seems to be in a bit of a daze himself.

The Large teen still wants a piece of the smaller teen, so he kicks him so hard in the gut that Malcolm is surprised it didn't send the smaller boy flying.

Malcolm's turn...

Malcolm obediently turns to face the wall and holds his hands out to his sides to make sure the guards can see he isn't doing anything. Meanwhile he attemps to grab the bottom of the larger boy's foot and give a quick yank, hoping to trip him.

Telekinesis RM26 grapple [1d100] = 78 (no karma spent) YELLOW feat = Grab

Malcolm mentally garbs hold of the large teen's leg...
The smaller teen scampers away to hide behind some of the other teens who seem to be his friends.  As the food fight rages, more guards run into the cafeteria to try to gain control of the situation.  The large teen who's been tugging to try to get away from whatever it is that has him but fails in his escape attempt!  Suddenly a tray gets thrown past your head and slams into the chest of the bully [Poor 3 damage].  Looking back you see it's your guide who earlier told you to stay out of trouble.  But who's now gleefully hurling objects at the larger teen.
Malcolm's turn.

Malcolm simply lets go of the larger teen.
Now who's the bully Malcolm thinks. What happens next is on him, the guards should keep it from going to far.. if they don't.

Your guild looks at you strangely and says, "What's your problem.  That jerk deserves to get the shit kicked out of him.  Maybe you think it's cool that he likes to beat up on people smaller than him."  Suddenly the both of you get pushed up against the wall, beside each other and the fighting is finally stopped.  While the guards yell at the people fighting you notice your guide's eyes close for a few seconds and when they open he seems completely confused.  "Wha... what's going on?"  He tries to look back over his shoulder at the guard but his face gets pushed into the wall.  "Hey!  What're you doing?!"

"We say you throw a tray!"

"No I didn't!"

"Whatever!"

The kid then gets dragged away.

The guard releases you and says, "Make sure you keep being a good little boy and maybe you'll get some milk and cookies."  His smirk suddenly fades and he looks around.  "Ahhh... go back to the common area.  I have... stuff to do."  The guard then wanders away.

ABOUT US
A gaming group started in late 2005 when several members (from all over the world) came together on a long-running forum website called Plothook.net (formally known as Highmoon.net). Several games transformed from a by-the-book format to highly modified versions that became new hybrid systems with completely custom rules and abilities. Ten years later, these faithful players wanted to secure their work and their stories, becoming the basis of these forums.
