Fuzz elmélkedését hallgatva Eric emlékeiben előbukkan egy gyerekkori emlék. A Thunderfist monostorban járt akkoriban egy gnóm bárd, aki az egyik este a törpe gyerekeknek fura történeteket mesélt. Egészen addig, amíg meg nem kérték a törpe asszonyok, hogy hagyja végre aludni a gyerekeket. Az egyik mesében volt valami ahhoz hasonló mondat, mint amire Fuzz rákérdezett, hogy hogyan mondják elfül. Valami Kardalf nevű mágus is szerepelt abban a mesében. Az emlékek nyomán visszakérdez Eric pár perc múlva: Nem dinnye? Vagy dünnye? Nem tudom...
