RE: Chapter 2-5: You're whirling 'round... - Merrinna Starsong - 01-30-2018

"You know a safer place to rest? I am listening. We will need to recover before facing the dragon."

RE: Chapter 2-5: You're whirling 'round... - DM Surranó - 01-30-2018

Zelgadis ponders the situation, is fingers twiddling absentmindedly with his rocky features.

"I could go after what I came for while you are resting. Whether I find it or not, we shall meet here in a few hours so that I can escort you to that ... dragon of yours. Unless the beast finds you first."
He sighs,
"It seems I have to stay with you and waste my time resting, as long as I'm supposed to protect you from that dragon-whatsis. "

OOC - you can discuss IC or OOC what's your preference:
- rest on these mushroom paths? less open space, more opportunity to hide for beasties and sentinels alike.
- rest in the middle next to the cage and that strange device that's supposed to be somehow tied to that cage?
- leave the mushroom rings one way or another and rest in the entry hall?
- other?

RE: Chapter 2-5: You're whirling 'round... - Silent Giant - 01-30-2018

OOC - rest in the entry hall or in the forest

OoC- rest in the entry hall sounds good but doesn't the area have a negative affect on magic? Or am I getting confused? The entry hall did have markings that Zelgadis may be able to explain to us though.

RE: Chapter 2-5: You're whirling 'round... - Shanna Rendin - 01-30-2018

Shanna sighs as the battle ends and rubs the bridge of her nose as if to ward off some sudden discomfort in her sinuses.  She then pulls some of her trail rations out and munches on some dried fruit and jerky as she wanders over to Zelgadis.  "May I have some healing, Sir?"

RE: Chapter 2-5: You're whirling 'round... - DM Surranó - 01-30-2018

Zelgadis nods and assesses Shanna tip to toe.
"You seem to be fine enough."

OOC - has Shanna suffered any damage other than from hunger and thirst? See my OOC post about it... but if you take the extra mile to explain him IC why Shanna feels like in need of a healing then he'll disclose some of the spoilerous info IC as well... so that won't be spoiler anymore Wink

RE: Chapter 2-5: You're whirling 'round... - Shanna Rendin - 01-30-2018

Shanna frowns and looks herself over, taking a drink from a waterskin.  "Oh, certainly I may seem to be whole and healthy, but there was a hunger deep down me that was devouring me from the inside.  To say that I am not in need of healing is to miss the point that we were all affected by this hunger and are in need of assistance."

"Guess you need food, then, a kind of wealth I cannot muster as I have already explained. My magic won't help you as it draws energy from within to speed up the healing of your wounds. If you are weak or ill, this magic will just make it worse."

RE: Chapter 2-5: You're whirling 'round... - Toot - 01-30-2018

Toot will be leaning against Boo, arms crossed and tapping his wand against his arm.  "Me can heal too.  But need to know who's really hurt and not just feeling icky from fatigue.  Me no heal icky feeling."  Toot then says to the stranger, "If waste time mean you wait then so be it.  Unless you want to battle dragoon by yourself while we watch from mushroom.  Cuz we not much use when so weak from exhaustion.  And you can slurp my tiny pudgy ass if yous think me risking my life cuz yous impatient."

RE: Chapter 2-5: You're whirling 'round... - Merrinna Starsong - 01-31-2018

(I think resting right here is fine rather than waste time making our way back. Especially if the hunger and fatigue was a trap we triggered.)
