Torin hits the mantis (attack: crit(26) crit confirm: 26 damage: 11=5+6). If he kills the mantis then he step closer to the bee otherwise he stay in his place.
His second attack is a miss.

The second mantis also falls to the vicious blows of those around.

Just as the dust settles, a gravely voice is heard from the North,
"... akaki honoo yo!"
-- and a burst of flame, the size and shape of a ballista bolt, shoots past the spectators overhead, passing harmlessly through the image of the huge wasp, and scattering to a shower of sparks just about twenty feet further.
Those looking towards the source and not towards the target can see Zelgadis emerging from the surrounding darkness, his cape flowing around him.
"Seems it dwells in fire... Subete no chikara no --"
As he continues on his course and starts intoning a new spell a pale blue crystal starts to form in his half-clenched fist.
(OOC - feel free to insert one round worth of whatever in reaction to his first spell before he starts casting the second one...)

Seeing the giant wasp disappear he lowers his guard, tired and sore, then deactivates the ring. "Oh great... you're alive." Lugar says a bit sarcastically to Zelgadis. Maybe a part of him hoped to find Zelgadis's corpse so he could "retrieve" his valuables.
Lugar dismissed that thought then began checking his equipment for cuts and tears from the giant mantis's claws. Between the fatigue and the attack Lugar was looking forward to a rest. "C'mon, we should leave this place before more of these bugs come."

Thank god you can't critically fail a skill check.]Toot isn't sure who's most hurt so he taps the person he's physically closest to which is Silent Giant.
