Right now the sheet is a PDF exported to my Onedrive - you can view it here: A human Alchemist - https://1drv.ms/b/s!AjFiKq8nYxnYgvxzuZPZe9N8VQD-PQ and I will get it transferred to a myth-weavers sheet later if you approve of the character.

I stuck to 20 point buy, average starting wealth and no 3rd party content.  Just Paizo sources from d20pfsrd.com.

Carrying over my character submission post from the other thread yesterday.

A Human Tomb Breaker Alchemist.. https://1drv.ms/b/s!AjFiKq8nYxnYgvxzuZPZe9N8VQD-PQ

I notice another player wishes to use alchemist as well, but may not have been following the other thread...

I came over from the Paizo PbP announcement for the campaign. Both our characters are alchemists, but they are very different actually. We both have plenty of skills and Disable Device, but mine is a ranged combat specialist and debuffer (eventually). It's really nice to have 2 characters with disable device in a group since it makes aiding skill checks for it possible. Alchemists are so versatile that we can both be in the same party and hardly step on each others toes.

For example, if you do scouting, devices, and some healing, I can bomb all day long with great damage and add-on effects to debuff enemies, mutagen for better combat effectiveness, and crafting alchemical items.

If Toot makes a Gunslinger we will be a pretty ranged focused party.   Since I am sort of range focussed as well.. my bombs do a little less to living critters and more to undead and constructs, but are acid rather than fire which IMHO more than makes up for the smaller die of damage.

I'm going to say no on the Unchained book. I don't know Pathfinder like I know 3.5, so I prefer not to mix in optional rules.

Don't worry too much about overlapping classes. Just make sure your asses aren't hanging in the breeze. Wink

I could always go more punchy mic punchster Monk, might be a one-eyed Orc though... Are flaws allowed?

RE: Character Creation/ Applications - SnowHeart - 02-23-2017

Sounds good; no Unchained.

Whether I go rogue or barb, I'll definitely focus on melee combat (we got a healer, right?). ;-)

Do we have Disable Device well covered? If so, that's an argument more for a Barb (or a rogue/ranger without that skill).

Brawler?

Disable Device will be covered yes. I believe there's a divine caster, but we would have some healing and plenty of UMD even if not.

I could swap and create a new story for a more melee-esque character if it was desired. Problem is, with my melee characters i can get a bit gimmicky and would probably lose theme with the adventure.

I have Disable Device/Trapfinding covered.  My healing ability is lackluster, but there as a back-up. I think Neylani 's psychic has healing as well though.

RE: Character Creation/ Applications - Neylana - 02-23-2017

My psychic has healing covered, and people will probably think she's a divine caster... At least until she starts busting out with other weird stuff...

*can't do anything the normal way*

I'm pretty new to Pathfinder so I may be wrong, but according to what I'm reading the Martial Artist is just an archetype of the Monk. It takes the regular Monk class and replaces all of its Ki powers ( like abundant step and still mind) and replaces them with more martial abilities. The only one I fancy is the "exploit weakness" ability and well the ability to take fighter feats. Seemed more Kung fu to me. I found the archetype to be much simpler than the brawler. On paper at least.
