*commences stick pokery* This still a thing? Is it a thing of thingness, perchance with room for another?

RE: Reform School Mutants - Alchemy - 02-12-2016

GM Maevel has stated he just needs enough players Since GM Marvel is still active with at least 2 other games I assume he just needs more players to start.. so the more the merrier

RE: Reform School Mutants - Ramen - 02-13-2016

Whelp, time to fire up the ol' FASERIP machine then and see what I get. I'm sure with 180-ish points I can cobble together something that's better than "Can summon pastries."

RE: Reform School Mutants - Alchemy - 02-13-2016

don't knock that power could get really high resources using that one..

RE: Reform School Mutants - Ramen - 02-13-2016

From the shadows, criminals will huddle in their secret coteries, fearful of the vigilante who stalks their misdeeds. For every crook who encounters this vexing foe, a burning rumor spreads like wildfire: do you know the Muffin Man? Those who know the truth -- what few have weaseled their way out of divine retribution through pure luck -- know the answer which causes other underworld scum to cower: Yes, I know the Muffin Man, who wrecks mooks every day.

But seriously. Brainstormin' away. I'm strangely attracted to the idea of a Random Mutant with Nemesis + Karmic Tap and nothing else, though I suspect it'd be especially hard to justify such a combination, not to mention that it sounds like it might be viewed as a "Cheese Factor Five" offense. I'm not really savvy enough with Marvel Superheroes to know for certain if it really is, but pondering more well-established concepts just to be safe :3

Just give 'Bullseye' a powerful gun and an adamantium bullet and he'll turn that cheese into Swiss Wink

RE: Reform School Mutants - Ramen - 02-15-2016

So, as I fiddle with this character concept s'more, is there any relevant info I should know about regarding this "Mutant Youth Camp" beforehand? I suppose that, uh, would have been more pertinent for me to ask earlier before I started trying to cobble together a solid concept >_>

RE: Reform School Mutants - Scott Steiger - 02-15-2016

it was a campaign originally ran by GM Man-in-Black on plothook, but not continued yet here. We have all been sent to this Reform school for mutants which is actually ran more like a PoW Camp.. there has been no random violence against the students yet but reprisal when you step out of line is swift and harsh. One girl has gone missing, before Scott arrived.. Mac would know more about that.

Scott even though he is somewhat of a lone wolf started up a team pool with Mac and Sam Smith, but as yet none of the girls have had an opportunity to join, due to not being in the boys barracks.. we had left off on plothook at breakfast in the cafeteria after they had us go through communal showers and then excercise in the morning.

Nemesis is an interesting power but unfortunately that's the only power you get.  The first sentence in the power's description states, "When this power is first generated, it replaces all other powers the hero might have other(wise) had."   Sad

@Raman didn't you play a character in my original Marvel game called, Antlion?

As for the game, some time has past so I'm not sure who is still interested.  Brittany was MiB's character so I can NPC her for a bit.  Who else is still interested?

RE: Reform School Mutants - Sam Smith - 02-17-2016
