Wondering if I can take his turn now since I missed his last one.

Sure.  I will just edit the post in response to your post.
Sorry for disappearing, Got sucked into a wormhole. If you can work me back in, I'd love to play again.
You are more then welcome to return.  We are almost finished with what we are doing now so I will likely add you back in when they return to the mansion.

Acrobatics The hero with this Talent is very limber and as such gains advantages when under attack. The hero has a +1CS when dodging, evading, and escaping.
Tumbling The hero with this Talent knows how to fall and land without undue injury. Individuals with this Talent may make an Agility FEAT to land feet-first after any fall that does not inflict damage.
- even with +1 CS my 40 on Ex16 Endurance would not have been enough, BUT do I get an Agility feat to land on my feet anyway, or does this not count as a fall?]
Acrobatics wouldn't help you.  Dodging and Evading wouldn't help because you would have had to have said you were using it before the attack also it is an area attack so it kind of automatically hits; and escaping is done to break a hold.  As for Tumbling, I don't see why not.  But I don't believe tumbling would work for recovering from slams.
Exactly what the crap happened while I was away today? I go from a manageable situation, to Jack turning on Lisa and...doing what exactly?
Jack didn't turn on Lisa.  The accident that gave Jack his powers also gave Lisa powers.  Like Bruce Banner whose alter ego, the Hulk, gets activated when he gets angry, Lisa's alter ego gets activated by outside stimuli too.  It's just the only person who knew was Jack.  He found out from jokingly shocking her.

This isn't some random event that was added at the last minute.  Jack's player created him based upon a character he played in my real life game around 20 years ago.  In that game he had a Girl friend named Lisa so he started this character with a girl friend also named Lisa.  This is a similar story line I had in my real life game and he knew it was coming except the trigger was going to be different.  Unfortunately Jack's player is not with us any more so I am writing them both out of the game.  But rather than just having them disappear I figure this would be more Marvel-like.

Well first, when using Telekinesis you have to see if you need to make a feat roll to pick up the couch.  Luckily, in the case of strength, Marvel has actual numbers for how much can be lifted for each rank.  For other feats it's more of a guessing game of how difficult what you're trying to do seems compared to the rank you are using.  The weight for each rank is as follows...
  • Fe = up to 50 pounds
  • Pr = up to 100 pounds
  • Ty = up to 200 pounds
  • Gd = up to 400 pounds
  • Ex = up to 800 pounds
  • Rm = up to 1 ton
  • In = up to 10 tons
  • Am = up to 50 tons
  • Mn = up to 75 tons
  • Un = Up to 100 tons
You have Remarkable Telekinesis so you can lift up to 1 ton or 2000 pounds.  Googling the average weight of a couch and it says they weight about 350 pounds which is well within your limit.  If it had been 1500 pounds then you may have needed a feat roll to lift it to wield it as a weapon because lifting something heavy off the ground and actually throwing it are two different things.  So since the weight of the object is -2cs lower than your strength you have no problem lifting it up.  You would then use the blunt thrown column to see if you hit.  You could also do a charge attack with the sofa too if you wanted.  I should also note that because there is no feat roll to lift the sofa, it also doesn't take any more effort than picking up a wine bottle and cracking someone over the head with it.  So you won't have to use a non-combat action to lift the sofa.  If it was sectional that weighted 1500 pounds then you would need to use an action to lift it and then a combat action to throw it.  I should also mention that telekinesis says you can lift multiple objects at one time but for each object you would lower your strength rank by -1cs.  So picking up a sofa and a chair would reduce your strength to Excellent; picking up a sofa, chair and a coffee table reduces your strength to Gd which would mean you would need to now make a feat roll to lift the sofa; and so on...  Does this make sense?
[OoC It starts to.. so the sofa will Charge Static that seems most likely to bring him outside - not sure what Endurance to use as the sofa is the one doing the charge - rolling Sofa Charge [1d100] = 82
That looks like a Yellow feat/Slam if the Sofa has anything between Typical and Monstrous Endurance - it's a sofa so I don't expect a whole lot if any damage, my aim was to shove the jerk outside towards Katrina, Ballista, et al]
Well the game would likely say you would use the material strength of the couch which if a front door is good strength then a couch would likely be typical. But I think the weight and size of the object should matter too. There is a big difference between being hit by typical lamp and clobbered by a typical couch! So we need to do a little ad hoc adjustments. Keeping in mind like all ranks, if they are within one rank of each other they get bumped up a column shift. For example if Jack's Rm Lightning and Ballista's In kinetic bolts were to bullseye an object they would do Am damage. Another example if two Good strength ranks joined to pick something up they would lift an Excellent weight.

I hope that makes sense because it's how superheroes break down thinks like force fields that are normally too powerful for them to penetrate individually.

I think the size and weight is the most important here so a Good weight plus Good size = Excellent. So we will ad-hoc the couch being around a Excellent "endurance" for the purposes of charging with the item.

I updated my post in the in game thread to reflect the Ex Endurance charging sofa. Just an amusing image, but I can keep beating him up with a couch.
