OoC - I thought since Zelgadis retrieved Torin's wand through the cage he could get the water skin also. Maybe I took for granted that everyone was under the charm of the comprehend laungage spell. If not, then one of the others could translate. As far as freeing Zelgadis, didn't Shanna get some artifact that could negate the cage or am I mistaken? Otherwise Torin's alter spell and Lugar's potion is the best option as far as I see. Of course, maybe we can dig him out or Giant's ring can transport him out, but Lugar doesn't know about magic so well.
If we want to continue this conversation Torin casts another CompLang and give his wand to the same persons.

There should be some kind of Metamagic feat that adds levels to spells like Reduce Person similar to how Psions can add power points to Psionic Charm to effect more types of creatures. Maybe +1 Lvls to add animal, fey, giant, magical beast, or monstrous humanoid and +2 Lvls for aberration, dragon, elemental, or outsiders. Reduce only

[OoC4: I was checking out types of Giants and on the Wiki the smallest Giant type for an Alter Self spell and all I could find was a Half-Giant which is a Medium sized creature. And I'm not sure if Half Giants are Core. ]

Toot continues to watch and listen. When Torin allows the guy to cast another Comprehend Languages upon himself, Toot asks,
"If we find way to release you will you help in defeating dragon." Toot purposely used the word "defeat" instead of "kill." He wasn't interested in fighting a dragon either so finding another way to defeat it through magic or negotiation before people (Read: Toot) gets squished then he's all for it!!
OOC1 - I said we need the door with antimagic field from "Key of Hate"
OOC2 - Is this cave an active spell or like a "magic item"? We have a little chance with dispel magic, haven't we? Maybe dispel magic can supress it for few rounds.

[OoC: This forcecage could be a different spell because I don't think a regular ForceCage burns people. Dispel Magic doesn't effect a regular Forcecage. In fact, I'm not even sure anti-magic shell will effect the cage as it states only disintegrate and a rod of cancellation or sphere of annihilation has any effect upon it.]
OOC Lugar - Shanna's artifact to negate something? You mean the wand or twig or petrified tentacle or whatever she received from Cranberry? Yeah, that's there.
OOC1 Toot - The bead of light is not really a stone, it's Zelgadis' version of Light (called "Lighting"
) that is not cast on any solid object and he can control it at will.
OOC2 - I guess you think he's a giant because originally I forgot to downscale his token but nope, he's regular human size (tall but not as tall as Silent Giant who's technically also a humanoid)
OOC4 - Hint: I'm not sure all NPCs are "core." This place is definitely not-core altogether
but what I meant by not being a humanoid is that maybe he's part something else, meaning his type is maybe something else. (can't remember if "person" spells affect native outsiders for example but don't think so. Anyway he's all but native...)
Toot thinks the guy is clearly frustrated of being stranded to this place but he doesn't look like the type who gives up easily. Upon Toot's offer Zelgadis narrows his eyes,
"You mean making a contract, his life for mine?" (OOC he apparently didn't get the fine print)
OOC2 Giant - you mean "this cage"? it persists for over a week now so if it's a spell then it's either very powerful or made permanent (and thus powerful). Arcane people on the other hand may know that some dragons tend to invent magical wards that act like magic items bound to the place.

So why do you think he is a demon or a fiendish dragon instead of a simple green dragon? When was he here last time and how long is he away usually?
OOC - He hinted few times it is not a real dragon... I hope we had a conversation among us what he said in the last 10 minutes because Shanna, Torin and SG can't understand he. Nobody asked this questions yet. I think Shanna knows everything about dragons, fiendish dragons and demons.
Zelgadis listens carefully to the translator of Giant's words before burying his face into his palm. When he recovers, he speaks quietly, slowly, carefully selecting the words.
"I. Know. Nothing. Of green dragons. But the dragons I know of have power comparable only to high ranked demons, and dealing with those is my specialty."
